As a freshman on the floor, Kal didnât expect Syria to be as computer literate as she was. And when his computer fried, he thought it was toast⌠but then he ran into Syria and with her help, you managed to get it back up in running within a few hours, his files completely restored. It was magic. Ever since then, heâs noticed Syriaâs tinkering and often offers to pitch in and help, and she does the same for him. When he gets stuck, they pick each otherâs brains on what to do next or how to solve a problem, and between the two of them, thereâs nothing they canât do. Griffinâs in the same year, but their paths donât cross much outside of the football field. Kat went to high school with Aspen and she used to date his best friend, Max. He was a year older and attended a private school, but the three of them had a plan â heâd spend a year alone at NYU, but then Max and Aspen were going to graduate, continue being nauseatingly annoying and in love, and join him. It was perfect, and he couldnât wait⌠but everything changed when Max chose to take a year (or so, she said) off. Unsure of what they wanted to do with their life, they wanted to travel Europe in order to find themselves, and instead of going with them, Aspen chose to stay. She wanted to continue her studies and go to NYU, and it frustrated him that she didnât ask them to stay too. Aspen let them go, and sometimes, he holds her accountable for that. He never knows where they are or what theyâre doing, and heâs hurt. Heâs angry. Heâs missing his best friend, and because of that, there is tension between the two of them.

What is your idea of a perfect date?
âMy perfect date?! Oh, thatâs a fun question! My perfect date is the kind of date where you donât realise itâs a date until lips suddenly meet and hearts flutter and hands roam and youâre just, like, so, so happy! I mean, I wouldnât say no to the clichĂŠ of a candle light dinner and stuff, of course, but I would never be the one organising it. I do prefer the kind of date thatâs based on wild and completely random, spontaneous decisions. You know, the ones that in a movie would be edited with, like, awesome music and stuff! I want to laugh and enjoy myself with the person Iâm with, not to be nervous and overthink my emotions. I mean, being in love is the side effect of being happy with someone, right? So we gotta be happy.â
What are your plans for the year?
âMy plans for the year? Like, until the end of this year or the next 12 months? I mean, not that it would make a difference but-, Nevermind, doesnât make a difference. Iâm stalling when I donât even have to; I know what I want, itâs simple: I want to be happy. You know, finding a path to take, a direction to follow, a dream to chase. I love college, Iâm incredibly grateful for my scholarship, and I know Iâm damn lucky with my whole family-friends situation, please donât get me wrong, but ⌠sometimes I feel a bit lost. And again, please donât get me wrong, I donât mean to sound melodramatic here, itâs just that-⌠It seems as though ever since we were, you know, given the powers, given this purpose, given this huge ability to do such vastly important things, itâs as though the small things in life have become ⌠harder to grasp. Itâs pretty damn hard to enjoy a good burger if you know how much more you could do in that moment? Should do? Itâs all seems so futile, so small compared to, ha, defeating evil, so how can it still be a reason for happiness? I donât know. Maybe thatâs one of the reasons why Iâm trying so badly to help the people I love. Because at least when theyâre happy I feel like itâs all still worth it, you know. Am I being melodramatic? I feel like Iâm being melodramatic, gosh, ha. What did you put in this tea? Melodrama? Sorry for that. But yes. Finding happiness again is my plan for the next year.â

âł Rory Marshall (+): Born on Christmas Day, Reese and Rory are fraternal twins born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The two grew up in a hearty home full of acceptance, love and encouragement, with little to no gender bias. Because of this, Rory and Reese were able to grow extremely close, participating in many of the same activities and groups while growing up and rarely experiencing any form of separation.
Many expected the bond between them to fade over time, and though they have found individual interests unique to each of them, they've only grown closer over the years. They protect each other and can always be counted on to have each other's backs. They're a package deal, whether other people understand that or not. But unlike his âolder sisterâ (as Rory never lets him forget), Reese isn't quite sure of what he wants to do after college, and because of that, he feels a fair bit of pressure to perform well as to not disappoint his family or waste his opportunity at NYU.
âł Liam Sayoc (+): Liam is Reeseâs roommate and one of the nicest people he has ever met. If he couldnât room with Rory, heâs glad to have gotten stuck with Liam who is quickly becoming one of his best friends.
âł Griffin Sayoc (+) The captain of Reeseâs football team and the cousin of his roommate, Reese has great respect for Griffin and his leadership on the field. Especially when it comes to his sister and letting her on the field.
âł Sawyer McClintock (+) The first time Reese had to morph, he was with Sawyer. As the white and yellow rangers, they saved Liam together, and because of that he trusts her with his life. He knows that his sister is too close to her, but he hopes they work it out. Somethings just make sense, and the two of them are one of them. Even if Sawyer isn't ready yet.

What are your plans for the year?
If I could change one thing about my life it would be losing valedictorian to Bianca. To lose to her by a few measly points â that is the one thing that I will never let myself live down. Iâm better than that; I should have won. And as irrational as it is, a small part of me canât help but think maybe my parents would have come to my graduation had I been valedictorian.
Well, dating isnât really something Iâm interested in at the moment, but if I were to speak hypothetically â I would say my idea of a perfect date is something outdoors, not that whole clichĂŠ movie and dinner thing. Probably something like stargazing. I could borrow a friendâs truck, fill the truck bed with pillows and blankets, and we could just cuddle and chill while watching the stars. Food and wine is also a must.
What is your fondest memory?
Sawyer walked into her dorm, dropping her Prada messenger bag on the ground with a heavy sigh as she mumbled a few obscenities under her breath. Most days she didnât mind attending her many classes and the extensive homework that almost always came along with them, but today was different. Today had been nothing but trouble from the start. First, she overslept, then she proceeded to spill coffee on her shirt and had to change, which made her run even more behind. To top it all off she literally ran into one of the most beautiful women she had ever seen, while on her way to class.
The moment they collided, Sawyer had every intention to give the other girl a piece of her mind, even though she had been the one messing with her phone and not paying attention to her surroundings. But the second she met the girlâs ocean like eyes, words escaped her, something quite uncommon for her â all she could do was open and close her mouth as she stared at the girl. Knowing that she likely resembled a fish out of water, Sawyer swiftly ducked her head and walked away from the blonde without uttering a single word to her.
And that interaction was the main reason she was currently searching her dorm for her stash of alcohol. After that run in, various thoughts and feelings came bubbling to the surface. Thoughts and feelings she thought she had buried a long time ago. âI wasnât staring because I was attracted to her, I was merely admiring her hair and eyes â she had envy worthy hair.â Sawyer reassured herself, pulling out a bottle of wine and a glass.
As she poured herself a drink she couldnât help but wish Syria was around, not that Sawyer would share her current dilemma with her roommate, but still, some company may have been nice. And out of her two roommates, she would pick Syria any day. The girl was odd to say the least, but Sawyer never felt an urge to smother her with a pillow while she slept. She couldnât say the same about Bianca.
