Mammon couldn’t get enough of you, the dumb little human he adored. However, you noticed that this sin of his grew stronger after the Belphegor accident. For the two weeks that followed it, Mammon became your personal body guard™️, not allowing anyone close to you and hissing as soon as someone tried to touch you. During one of those days, you were spending time alone in Mammon’s bedroom when he suddenly stormed in. You’ve never seen him angry but it was obvious that he was upset about something.

“That’s Levi! This worth for nothing otaku !” he answered when you asked him what was the matter.

“He tried to call me out because of how much I supposedly “hogged” you and he couldn’t spend time with ya”

“Eh? He can always tag along if he wants, I don’t mind. I’ll text him” you tried to reach your D.D.D on the bed but Mammon was quicker than you.

“Don’t wanna,” he mumbled

“Ohhh,” you said in a smug tone to annoy him “Is the Great Mammon feeling jealous today ?”

“...”

“Mammon ?”

“ That ain’t it! Except for Asmo every single one of ´em tried to harm you, there’s no way I’m trusting them !”

“Mammon! You can’t say that; they’re your brothers”

“I ain’t backing up! There’s no way I’m gonna let it happen again”

“I know you won’t and they know too. That’s for this very same reason you should trust them with that. Plus, I forgave them”

“Hmpf..” he pouted before joining you on the bed. He took you in his embrace, your head resting on his chest. “You better not endanger yourself, heard me? I love ya so much I wouldn’t stand it if something were to happen again”

You froze in his embrace and you felt him flinch too. Did Mammon just… confess? You tried to look up to see his face but he was quick to firmly rest his chin against your head so you couldn’t see his flushed face. You chuckled at his gesture.

“Of course you’d love the Great Y/N !”. You forced yourself out of his embrace leaning toward him, close enough that both of your noses were in contact. “... and, you, Mammon should know that Y/N the Great loves you even more !” 

“Silly human,” he said before kissing you.

What is there to say? Mammon and you just clicked. He sure acted super proud and annoyed toward you at first but it didn’t last long. The two of you were attached by the hips with neither of you wanting to separate. He is your first after all, isn’t he? Of all the brothers, you thought that Mammon was the easiest to hang out with. In fact, out of all his brothers, he was, with Asmo, among the first on the self-control scale. Indeed, the white-haired demon, despite his nature, never once turned into his demon form in an attempt to hurt or intimidate you, nor did he ever physically harmed you. Moreover, he sure handled the role of your first pretty well. Always protecting you and all. Even though the two of you happened to verbally fight, he would never be too mean to you.

You loved him. He was The Great Mammon after all. Greedy, sure, but so genuine and high key kind. Hanging with him never bored you once. To begin, he was so damn funny. Whether he was just joking around, acting like a fool, or finding himself in weird situations. It was only natural that you drowned to him. You enjoyed his presence very much and so did he with yours. The more intimate you grew with Mammon, the more infatuated with him you became. It was crazy how he literally grew under your skin… in a very pleasant way. Mammon’s presence made you full and not enough at the same time. You always wanted more when it was about him. The two of you might be physically close but you seemed to only always want more of him.

Did his sin become yours too? Satan and Solomon both had a theory that you were tending into it. You became greedy but your greediness was always pure and directed toward the second born. If Mammon was protective over you, you were the same to him. The more time went by and the less indulgent you became when the people around tried to make fun of him.

You were constantly yearning for him. How could you want to be with him any more than you already were though? How could the two of you be so needy for each other when the first thing Mammon did in the morning was storming into your room so you could have breakfast together? That is if he wasn’t already sleeping in your room. How? When he dragged you everywhere to the point the two of you signed gigs for Devil Magazine?

 Mammon’s feelings of greediness were more intense than yours though. It only calmed down once the two of you started dating. 

You’ve been busy these last two days. Last week, you went to Majolish with Asmo and Satan and you saw a magnificent set of rings and ear piercings. Mammon would look so beautiful wearing those you thought. And so you made it your mission to save enough of money to offer them to him. Truth is, you already had money, but you were planning other stuff for your boyfriend so you worked part time at Hell’s Kitchen. On your first day in Devildom, Satan told you that if the Avatar of Greed were to have a lover, they would be drowned in gifts and money from him. But looking at you, it looked like the said Avatar was no one but yourself. More than wanting to cover him in gifts, you wanted to mark him. Everyone, when looking at Mammon should be able to know who he gave his heart to.

The next day, you were sitting on your bed with Mammon resting his head on your lap, scrolling on his phone.

“Hey, bighead !” You said poking on his forehead. “Look what I got you !”

“... You got me somethin’ ?” he looked smug. He slowly positioned himself so he was sitting in front of you, a soft smile adorning his flawless face.

“Yup !” You took out two pretty boxes that were hidden behind the pillow on the other side of the bed and placed them before Mammon. They were fancy and it was obvious, that they were from a jeweler. One of them was was crimson and the other one black, both decorated with golden signs.

He opened the crimson one first. It contained a set of golden rings. There were fingers and phalanx rings, some decorated with a colorful diamond and simpler ones. He removed the one he already had to settle all of them on both of his hands. You could see that he was trying so hard to play it cool but it was impossible. Mammon was blushing hard and couldn’t mutter a word. As much as his brothers loved him he rarely received gifts and suddenly receiving some from the person he loved without any particular reason made him tingly inside.

As he was silently putting the rings on his finger you could not help the content feeling that was building inside you. Every ring placed on his hands was a part of you that he was exposing to everyone. This thought rose blood to your cheeks.

“T-thanks... I love ‘em” it was said as he still contemplated his hands.

“And I love you” you smiled. « Open the second box ! »

“Okay okay okay, wait” and as he reached for the second box he stopped. He only glanced at you but he could tell that something was off.

“Did you get tattooed without me ?”

“What? Where did you get this idea ?” 

He answered by caressing your cleavage “What’s that ?”

“What’s what ?”

“The white marks on your body”

“Do you think I became a leprous or something ?” 

The two of you were now laughing and Mammon finally dared to look at you.

“Silly human !”  

“Hey, Mammon? “Mmh ?” Why did you let your horns out ?”

“What are ya talkin about? I didn’t !” “Then why are they out? Are you trying to show off or something ?”

“Shaddup! You’re the one talkin but look at those dumb eyes! Why are they glimmering like that? You look like a stupid owl! Your eyes ain’t even blue-yellowish, to begin with !”

“Uh? You shaddup my eyes ain’t yellow! Stop making things up”

“You look for yourself if ya don't trust me !”

You stood up jokingly cursing him, walking toward the standing mirror. 

“See? Told ya ! You leprous being !”

“What the? What is this ?” you said removing all of your clothes

“Oï ! What are you doing ?!”

You didn’t answer as you were scanning yourself in the mirror. “Hey handsome, come on and remove those pesty clothes !”

Mammon became a blushing mess stuttering incomprehensible sentences.

“Please ?” you said with puppy eyes

“I always knew that you were with me only for my body anyway,” he said smiling while undressing

The two of you knew standing in front of the mirror scanning each other.

“It looks like the white marks you were talking about are just the same ones you have when you’re in your demon form babe, and my eyes too have the same colors as yours which means…”

Mammon looked at you with intensity and so did you.

“Oh. my. God.”

“We both have leprosy”. You looked serious for an instant before laughing again. “On a more serious note,” you said between two laughter, “I think that I accidentally conjured your power, sorry !” you said with a peace sign and a wink.

“So you just love me so much that you cling to me every second uh? I mean, I’m the Great Mammon, I can’t blame ya ”

“I always hold dear what’s mine after all !” And just like that, you let out an enormous sneeze.

“Just shaddup and dress up you Mammon fraud !”. He said, a beautiful blush adorning once more his beautiful face
