I’m probably taking things a bit too seriously.
But a lot of the “extrovert vs introvert” kind of jokes come off as very passive aggressive and rather mean.Â
You know, the ones where you have an extrovert being excited to see people and introvert being “gosh please leave”.Â
Or the ones where extroverts are depicted to be the shallow attractive party people and introverts are depicted as the misunderstood & sensitive bookworms uwu ?
Like, can we just let those jokes die please.
Introverts talk a lot about how the world makes them feel bad for being an introvert.Â
But you know what? The world is also making me feel bad for being an extrovert.
I feel really bad for being loud and talkative. I feel needy and selfish for wanting to hang out with my friends more than once a week. I feel bad about how my talkative personality can make people uncomfortable. But work/school is almost the only place where I can socialize with people face to face. I feel bad for being portrayed as the annoying loud bitch who never shuts up. I feel bad about how (some) introverts think the world would be better without extroverts. I feel bad when people think extroverts are just shallow party crazy people who never have deep thoughts. I feel bad for trying to encourage my friends hanging out with me because I genuinely like their company. And would like to hang out with them more.
There is a lot of things I feel bad about myself in this supposedly World of Extroverts.Â
Some extroverts also would actually prefer to just literally Netflix & Chill with introverted friends. Or just play video games all weekend without even opening the curtains.
I may be repeating myself but stop assuming all extroverts like going to the club or a bar.
Extrovert Problem #39
Introverts assuming you cannot survive alone. And how you need to be with someone 24/7 and leech their energy like a vampire.Â

TFW your friend cancels plans at the last minute.
Plans you were really looking for doing all week/month.
Not all extroverts like parties or going to a club.
Not all introverts dislike parties or going to a club.
Things are not so black and white.Â
Extrovert Problem #35
You are almost always the one who makes plans and makes sure that they actually happen.
