4. Sitting next to each other on a packed bus or train

More often than not, he was lucky enough to get a pretty female companion, but there were the occasional senior citizens and whatnot. Shallow? Definitely. But it wasn’t as if he constantly pushed away unwanted bus companions to make room for the more favorable ones. It was just that one time.
But on this particular ride, he was once again grateful for an attractive seat mate. The bus was just about packed, so it wasn’t as if she had much of a choice, but Hayate took the opportunity.
