hey so i have a queston about IB, is the extended essay really as bad as everyone makes it seem?? so many people are making it seem like if you dont do well on it you basically wont graduate and its stressing me out
Honestly, it's not as hard as you think. You just need to think about how x event/idea/thing affected x social change during x time period in x place. I did mine on Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd's lyrical influence on hippie shit in the western world from 69-79. (I literally was high the whole time I wrote it... don't be like me i didn't finish it until the day before it was due)
You could pick your topic, line out points that correlate with your argument, bullshit the whole thing, then find academic journals and stuff that'll back up everything you have to say. Just cite along the way really well (i spend more time citing than actually writing most of the time). also, you have people who are basically paid to help you out. use them and you'll be fine!
