Overview

They primarily hail from Ajirabia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and are notorious for raiding cargo ships and luxury cruises to plunder resources, including food to sell on the black market at exorbitantly high prices and holding valuable hostages for ransom from the government. The pirates often collaborate with other factions, such as the Amadeus Syndicate, trading spoils for coveted assets like weaponry and booze.

Unlike traditional pirates, they operate without a single leader, opting for a collaborative approach where decisions are made collectively rather than following orders from an authority figure. While often stereotyped as malicious, not all pirate groups have ill intentions; many have turned to piracy solely to survive. However, the willingness to commit heinous acts varies greatly from one group to another.

Uniforms

Their clothing typically includes bandanas, headbands, turbans, tank tops, T-shirts with ripped sleeves, vests, sirwals, trousers, buckled leather shoes with rounded or pointed tips, combat boots, and cummerbunds.

Positions

Pirates are categorised into three primary positions:

Pirate Soldiers utilise cutlasses for close combat and employ Molotov cocktails and smoke bombs to adapt to varying distances and tactical situations. Notably, they're also known for executing acrobatic somersault attacks, often in desperate circumstances or when fueled by the intensity of battle.

Pirate Assault Soldiers are skilled runners that utilise a scimitar for close-quarters combat and a black steel riot shield emblazoned with a painted red heart pierced by a white harpoon.

Firearm Pirates are similar to the Pirate Assault Soldiers, but they have distinct differences in their arsenal. They typically use a sabre for close combat and either a pump-action rifle or a flintlock pistol for long-range attacks.

They have mechanics responsible for maintaining their crewmates' weaponry, and all of them are female. To ensure they can contribute to fighting and keep opponents on guard, they possess modified light blue Slug Armors called Shark Armor, which they customised themselves after receiving stolen Regular Army blueprints from the Amadeus Syndicate. They can move quickly across the battlefield with relative ease and have air conditioning inside.

Extra Information

They serve as illicit mercenaries for the enemies of the Regular Army, particularly the Amadeus Syndicate and Rebel Army. They're often tasked with hijacking military cargo ships to retrieve valuable resources.

Despite their sloppy sword-fighting skills, they boast exceptional marksmanship and are capable of handling larger threats on their own without assistance from other factions.

Some pirates have a habit of taking psychoactive substances and CNS stimulants, which can lead to erratic behaviour, impulsive decision-making, and reckless combat tactics. They rarely raid on land, but will do so only if they become desperate and can't wait any longer for ships to plunder.

A few pirates know how to operate Hammer-Yangs, a responsibility often assigned to the Pirate Soldiers, who essentially serve as the common troops of any pirate group.

Many pirates are alcoholics, and some drink to the point of clumsiness; however, they're surprisingly efficient with their weaponry even while inebriated.
