WARNING: GORE! GORE! DISGUSTING GORE! NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, OR STOMACH (EVEN THOUGH I GUESS MOST OF YOU HAVE A PRETTY STRONG STOMACH)
This is from the comicĀ āThe Darkness: Four Horsemenā. One of theĀ āDarknessā comics centered around, you guessed it, the Four Horsemen being released in the world under the shape of four bikers. They reunite in a small American town and wreak havoc there.Ā
These Horsemen were heavily inspired by the Horsemen of theĀ āSupernaturalā television series. Famineās power is to make people hungry for food and obsessed with food in unnatural and destructive ways.Ā
We see him use his power on only two people, in an all-you-can-eat tex-mex. The first one is a father who brought his family there to eat. Famine touched him on the shoudler, and he started to eat more and more food, in sloppier and sloppier way, disgusting and creeping out not only his family but also the other clients. When an employee tries to stop him and kick him out of the restaurant, the hungry man argues that it is anĀ āall-you-can-eatā so he can eat as much as he wants if he is hungry. He then becomes ravenous and attacks the employee, devouring half of his face. When policemen came to arrest him and put him in the sobering up cell, the man ended up devouring his own arm, killing himself in the process.
The other victim is a client that left the tex-mex when the Horsemen arrived. Famine whispered in his earĀ āFeeling peckish?ā. The young man ran back home, and ate everything in his house, including frozen food. WhenĀ āhis stomach was blown up like a beach ballā, he became completely insanr and decided to open his belly so that he could eat as much as he want without being annoyed by the limits of his internal organs. Of course, he ended up dying. But he still went on, shoving food in his mouth and taking it back when it came out of his sliced belly to eat it again....
