It wasn't often Ace helped out at Sabo's place, mostly because if the people who wanted payback for his theft came to visit, they'd both be in trouble. Today, however, Ace was enjoying avoiding Izo after a bit of a makeover. The man had decided to visit for the weekend and immediately roped Ace his hobby. Honestly, he thought he looked like a damned Elf with his brows done and freckles covered and face contoured and hair done all fancy... "If you need anything, shout." He called to the customer.
âRight.â Ven muttered to himself at the pretty-boyâs words, looking through history texts. Heâd run out of material in his apartment, and while he was in Lumiose, he figured heâd pick up something in his first language. He was tempted to pick up a few texts on legends to sate his curiosity on what had happened to... Mara, but nothing was calling out to him.
Most likely because the romance novels were practically singing his name. He blamed not having a relationship (nor a fling) in a long while. Because really, heâd never been a fan of fantasy or romance in the first place.
It didnât stop him from glancing as he tried to convince himself he didnât need some sappy fiction muddying what he knew about people. He needed to keep his mind active, not turn it into a puddle of mush.
Ven ran a gloved hand through his black dyed hair, pushing it out of his face as he pulled out a book titled âKalosian Creation Mythosâ. Good enough, he thought to himself, studiously avoiding the fluff filled fantasy romance section. No one who knew him would have ever thought heâd have anything against romance and smut novels.
