She's seen a lot of strange things but this is certainly a new one. Carefully blue eyes scan over, they didn't feel like a spirit or any kind of demon. Enchanted object maybe? Curse?

"Well that's easy, I was on my way home from work. So what's you're story?"

Spinel raised an eyebrow. This guy looked a little bit too happy to talk about exploding stuff.

"And by that I assume you mean the Earth's sun and moon?" She didn't quite understand how exactly a bunch of circles tattooed on someone's hand could let them use such energies. Was it magic?

"I assume the moon is water because of the tides and stuff, and the sun is fire because...that's obvious. But...I'm not sure I get how you're able to use it."

Kohaku watched as a little top was placed in his tiny hands, he curiously looked at it before looking up at the man with a small tilt of his head.

“Thank you for this Sir as this was very nice of you to give, was this something you fidget with too?”

Axel cannot say he was ever fond of the idea of State Alchemists. People being turned into human weapons meant only for carnage and destruction and wartime—really, he had hated the very thought. It was an affront to all that people and alchemy should be.

Though, he supposes Kimblee would enjoy the destructive aspect of the role.

He truly didn't know why he of all people was sent here to greet the man upon his exit from where he should have stayed, but Axel knew better than to ask questions a long time ago.

Well. He must plant a smile upon his face all the same.

“ Mr. Kimblee, ” he greets upon the metal gates closing. Will he get in trouble here for not using the rank? He's not inclined to care all too much, though....perhaps that is Anger interfering on his behalf. She seems wary of this man as well.

“ Congratulations on your....freedom. The Fuhrer sent me in his stead to greet you. ”
