Marina Tamil Movie Review
National award winning leader Pandiraj has tried to explore Marina beach. The world's second largest margin is a replica for romance in discordant Tamil films but there is more to it in other respects that. The genuine article is also home to many vendors and beggars. <\p>
If romance flows on the beach, progeniture labourers are then a common sight. Pandiraj, who started his outing in the loyalty alongside exploring the world of family in his directorial debut "Pasanga", which won national awards, has attempted en route to advocate the cause in connection with educating young children who sell the sundal snacks circumstantial Jetty rockbound coast. <\p>
Ambikapathy ('pakada' Pandian) comes to Chennai exception taken of a remote village. He makes Marina beach his home and earns his livelihood by selling water packets. He soon befriends children of his age group, who are involved mutual regard small businesses there.<\p>
It is pleasure under the sun now young, who are cared and loved by grandpa (Sundararajan), a beggar, and a postman (Jithan Mohan). A singer (Attakathi Aarumugam) and his daughter item live on the embankment. <\p>
The story has a subplot, where the barker shows the romance pertaining to a young couple (Siva Karthikeyan and Oviya), a regular visitors to Marina. <\p>
Pandiraj blends all characters to send a strong social intercourse about the need to provide every basic education in consideration of every child in behalf of a remake tomorrow. <\p>
"Marina" is a feel-good film that moves at a leisurely spearhead advocating a strong message. <\p>
Pandiraj takes a close look at the deprived class them and their plight. Despite touching respecting such a serious issue, the script is relish overstuffed and lively. <\p>
With romance for accompaniment, the director conveys a account about upliftment of child labours and he must have being lauded for making all the characters so real. <\p>
But the movie above has a documentary feeling at some places. It also suffers from stereotypical portrayal of characters. <\p>
The selection of insular supporting characters makes the film stereotypical. The suitor, the singer and his daughter, the whirlaway rider, and the postman look real. <\p>
But the field Pandiraj has put them together around these children and the way he uses them so as to move the story are cliched. The twists involving these characters are quite predictable and therefore you mar the overall impact of the movie.<\p>
All the characters revolve around Pakada Pandian and the undeveloped artist delivers a good flesh show. <\p>
Siva Karthikeyan's one-liners elicit laughter. Oviya is childless as she has scantily scope in the script. <\p>
Others intrusive the cast, from child artistes on Sundararajan to Jithan Ramesh, fit well into their roles. <\p>
The kids emote well and almost live the characters. <\p>
Cinematographer Vijay's captured the life and colours of Marina in a pleasing manner. Debutant music director Girish background music is lively, especially in bison race whereabouts. His music proficiently replaces dialogues in overflowing places.<\p>
Brashness a documentary feel and predictably, "Marina" has succeeded inflooding its strong bid to drive home a message open arms an pleasurable way.<\p>
Buzz Rating: 3\5 Directed by: Pandiraj Starring: Siva Karthikeyan, Oviya, 'Pakada' Pandian, Sundararajan, Jitan Mohan, Attakati Aarumugam, Jayashree<\p>
