How To Be an Explorer of the World, Exploration #16
“Survey: Create a simple survey of at least five questions. Give it to a sampling of people. Document the answers in a way that is interesting and readable (for instance, as a graph, spreadsheet, or pictogram)” (Keri Smith).
My survey, as shared on Instagram and Facebook:
Describe yourself in only three words (or pictures or dance moves).
What's your favorite quirk about yourself?
What do you wish more people understood (and / or appreciated) about you?
What's something that delights you lately?
What's something that worries you lately?
* Bonus: Tell me a secret.
And a few more responses that came in after the fact:
Describe yourself in only 3 words.- Creative, dramatic, caring
What is your favorite quirk about yourself?- My odd sense of humor. I feel like people either think I’m strange or hilarious…and honestly I’m fine either way! haha
What do you wish people understood and/or appreciated about you?- I wish people could understand how much I genuinely care.
What’s something that delights you lately- Going on frequent night walks to clear my mind.
What’s something that worries you lately?- I know it’s cliché but I’m worried about my future. There is so much uncertainty and it keeps me up at night.
Stubborn or passionate, kind and genuine.
I always try to see people in the best light possible. I'm not always perfect at it. Sometimes preconceived notions happen.
I wish people would understand that I mean well. Sometimes I do something that might feel a bit awkward. Or they read what I'm doing as bad to only shortly realize I was just helping.
Work is finally going somewhere good. Possibly career good.
The state of the world worry's me.
