Y'know, a part of Doey may just be alive
Shit, I know I sound insane. But trust me here, it's gonna make sense.
Good morning, Good evening, and Good afternoon, Tumblr! And welcome back to I'm Losing my Sh!t Theories. On today's show, Mob Entertainment with a theory for Doey. And @kiko-thepurplebear was a great help for this theory
Doey/Experiment 1322 death:
So we all know how Doey died. We had to saw him three times before crushing him with a hydraulic press. But this death never made sense to me. All we did was freeze him with some liquid nitrogen and cut him "in half" with an electronic saw three times. He melted into the ground afterward and popped up where the hydraulic press is completely intact.
You would think if Doey had organs (we can guess this because he has to eat), hitting him with those saws would kill him. But then you have all the incidents that happened earlier in the chapter, with him going through cracks, pipes, and cell bars in the factory, including the massive drops, and much, much more.
A lot of you may be asking, "How can Doey have organs if all of that can happen without crushing them?" Great question, but first, thanks to the person for this part of the theory; thanks to @kiko-thepurplebear for finding this theory. I'll be summarizing from them, so I suggest you watch the video if you want a full explanation.
Anywho, Doey could have his digestive tract could be mixed in his Dough. I know, I know it sounds insane, but it's the only sensible answer as to how he survived this long without crushing any of his important organs. Some of y'all are most likely wondering how he eats. He has two ways to eat, which is just by absorbing whatever through his dough, and what's left is just discarded, or he can eat like a human and all that.
Now, knowing all that. We can understand how Doey managed to survive everything he does. It explains how he was just crushed under a shit ton of boulders in his normal day to day form but still popped up in his monster form, or when he was hit with some liquid nitrogen thanks to the doctor, but was able to defrost in a matter of seconds, or melted into the ground after sawing him for the last time, and popped back up in that giant hydraulic press room back in his normal monster form.
But what about Doey being frozen by the liquid nitrogen? Well... We know that when we freeze him, it takes about 10 - 15 seconds for him to defrost with one tank of liquid nitrogen, but that must have been a thin layer of him being frozen, and he waits for it to defrost till he moves again. But compare that to the six tanks he was hit with at the end, which went off for about 9 - 13 seconds, and it made a semi-thin coat of ice around his body. Yet he was still able to move after being hit with it, meaning that the outermost layer was damaged. But some of the inner layers may also have been damaged.
The Doey rugs:
So I couldn't be the only one who realized that the rugs that represent Doey didn't have an orange arm. No matter where you find it, it never has an orange arm. Knowing this, it could mean many things, which, as I said earlier, a part of Doey could be alive. Whether that's by them pulling an Ennard and kicking one of them out, or they're the only one who's alive. Now, either one could be possible, so here are my thoughts on what could have happened for both
They pulled an Ennard:
If two kicked out one, there are three probabilities that this can lead to. That being:
Matthew and Kevin
Matthew and Jack
Kevin and Jack
If it's Matthew and Kevin, that's gonna be like two things contradicting each other. Kevin is still most likely mad at us for blowing up the Safe Haven, while Matthew is still trying to reason with him so he doesn't kill us. That could lead us to Doey being more of a neutral character instead of being fully on our side (in which I can't blame him, we did blow up his home), which could mean every now and again we might have to fight him or just stay away from him. It's gonna be one of the two.
If it's Matthew and Jack, it's gonna be a much calmer duo. That's because Jack is likely easier to calm down than Kevin would be. Which would mean that Doey would be on our side, but he'll probably not want to interact with Poppy much. Cause y'know, "YOU AND POPPY! It's all your fault!" and "The gentle voices LIED! YOU LIED!". Granted, that could have been Kevin talking, but y'know, it's the principle of the quotes.
If it's Kevin and Jack, then on a scale of one to ten, my friend, we're fucked. We got one who's mad as hell, and another one who's still grieving his friends. Y'all, would it be a good idea for those two together without Matthew? No! We be cooked. We know that we're gonna have to kill him again, due to the fact that he's gonna be so mad. He's gonna hunt us down, he not gonna let us through. The game is gonna become harder if he becomes another boss. Do y'all know how bad that's going to be? But there can be a chance that Jack can manage to calm down and take Kevin down a few pegs, making him see reason (from the wrong side out).
Only one survived:
If it's Matthew, he may be a little uptight because, again, we did blow up the Safe Haven. But he'll still work with us because he wants The Prototype dead, like most of the other toys that side with Poppy, or are at least against him. At least he would be more forgiving than the other two. Yet I can see him being helpful to a point, there's going to be something that tips him over the edge. It's going to be something the Doctor does, or we do, or Poppy does, or Giblet does. Something will make him want to do something. We just won't know what.
If it's Kevin, ohh- Ahem- You are, as they say in Japanese, fucked from the head down to the knees. Yeah, we all know he's going to be so mad at us, and I hope that we can calm him down at some point. I want to be able to explain what happened with the Safe Haven and that we never met to do that. Yet, knowing this game, we're gonna have to kill him. He's probably going to be a mini boss in the middle of the chapter, and something that will actually kill him will be used in the fight.
Now, if it's Jack, honestly, I'm not completely sure. Like, he's not going to be a mini boss, he don't got that in him. But he may try to kill us and possibly Poppy too, a couple of times, and it's gonna be an obvious trap of some kind. I do believe we'll be able to calm him down, and he'll be a part of the team. But just like the other two, he probably wouldn't want to interact with Poppy much (Y'know, "YOU AND POPPY! It's all your fault!").
The only other sighting of Doey:
The only other time we get to hear about Doey in the chapter is via notes, the lines where he's mentioned, a poster, and the one line The Prototype decided to use.
The thing I found interesting is the poster you can see Doey in, and he's with Huggy. The only toy who lived after his chapter. But the thing I find the most interesting is that the only time fix or unedited version of that poster is after we officially meet The Prototype and kill Lily/Gracie. Now, am I unable to tell you if that was foreshadowing with Huggy or if this is telling us that Doey is alive? That's up to you to decide, I'm just saying that it's a little weird that Doey was standing next to Huggy.
All and all:
There's not much to say, I just have a feeling that a part of Doey is alive somewhere in the factory and possibly looking for us just to end us or join us. It all depends on who's left, who's in control now. No matter where you stand on who's what color, in canon, none of the boys are assigned to a color. We can only tell by how Doey acts, or at least speaks.
Jeez, this took about three to four days just to make this theory. But as always, that's just a theory! And don't take this seriously unless I'm right, of course. Have a good day/afternoon/night. I'm going to bed, Y'all.
