What a special time with @michaelmeade_mosaicvoices for “Leveraging the power of Mythology to cultivate change.” Here are some of his magic nuggets that struck me... - ... “Perfect” means the final step thru “form” has been taken. Perfection means done / dead. —- You can only find knowledge where we no longer know. —- We are a witnesses of the collapse of Nature & Culture —- We are now in a collective right of passage. —- We are in a liminal state... Between states. —- Sacrifice from Latin means to “make it sacred” ... NOT to suffer. —- Myth creates a context for imagination. —- Deep union is often found by the act of falling apart. —- Rumi said “die before you die.” Death can the middle of a long life (the ego has to die) —- To move forward People who carry “embodied knowledge” will need to invent “elders” again. —- An Elder is not a person, it is a “condition of the heart” (age is not a prerequisite.) —- For a time to come together it must die... A marker of this time is when we see that Young people are rejected & the Elders are forgotten. —- Beauty comes from the healing of the wound. —- Two thoughts of how the soul arrives... 1. Each soul comes in “aimed towards a purpose” 2. Or one comes-in as an empty slate ready to be imprinted on 3. —- Genius - is finding the magic that already exists inside. —- Everything of meaning in our lives is immeasurable. —- Economics - comes from the Greek meaning the proper balancing of home and wellness... NOT accumulation of wealth —- The energy of Wealth is meant to create a new & different creative energy. —- —- Follow the dream, the genius thread and have a Practice that sustains them. —- Disorder follows order. —- Until the painter paints, the painter is in pain. —- The next order comes from the bottom of the disorder. —- Our souls know... If we’re here to do the work of the soul, we need friends of the soul.
