Our Lost Family
Cable stared into his own bitter reflection, anger etched into his gaze as he looked into the eyes of a soldier. One eye cast in a bright blue, the other the fiery glow of molten gold. Nothing more than a mercenary with a mission, Cable had not expected to hear from the X-Men. For help no less. He had not denied their plea however, he owed Xavier far to much to do that.
With a grunt, he turned away and exited the room. Long strides carried the towering form to the back room, lights casting harsh reflections off his metal arm, neck, and face. There were still youth in his features but they had hardened and sharpened from years of fighting. Nathan entered the small room and gathered his weapons; two daggers, two pistols, and a massive rifle that rested on his shoulder. Everything in place and ready, Cable moved out to meet with the X-Men...and his father.
