Cryptid Hunters, boy does this story have some history with me. Not bad history, mind you, just, history. Is this a full-fledged review? Not exactly, more of a featurette. So, let’s get on with some of the basics of what to know when going into this story.
This story, if I’m putting my blunt opinion, is well-made. Is it the greatest? Well, if you put aside a lot of things coming from some of the characters in it, not to mention the absurd amount of anime tropes that ‘critical reviewers’ love to point out, wouldn’t make it the greatest. But the story has charm and a lot of heart put into it.
The character designs and all the scene work, and script is done by @lunaticsnivy , who also happens to be my artist for my two main stories. A critical eye can point out a handful of mispells and wrong words, but again, the story has a lot of heart put into it.
So, what is this story about: Plain and simple, it’s about a group who goes after supernatural creatures told mainly in legends and myths, such as the mythical sphinx and hellhounds. If that doesn’t get your appetite though, the characters are what make the story great. It’s got an enjoyable cast of characters who do work off one another to get the job done.
