I have created the most absurd spreadsheet to gamify writing:
Start with list of all the songs in my various writing playlists
Create a VLOOKUP to add titles to the list (playlists are labeled by ship name)
Create a VLOOKUP to search song title and return book title (with error handling)
If song is on the non-ship playlist, generate a random number
Based on that random number, return a book title (also with error handling)
Randomize playlist that contains all of the songs across playlists
Enter song title, get book to work in
Profit? Write

Ever tried Origin instead? Excel is the WORST
I know of it, but it’s a pain in the arse to get ahold of in the UK :( Also it’s super expensive, so I’d only use it if my uni offered it as student freeware, which they don’t, because of the aforementioned ‘it’s hard to get hold of in the UK’ problem :/
