Ugh, that feeling when you pass an exam, but just barely, purely based on luck, and you’re torn between being relieved that you won’t have to retake it and feeling ashamed of your lack of knowledge.

In my feeeeelings...
Today I didn’t do much because I just took my auditing exam a couple days ago. I’m on the second day of my break away from studying. It felt weird not having anything to study/do, and I kind of found myself finding it difficult to relax. But aside from that, I have good news! I made a 90 on my audit exam!!!! It’s late and I’m typing on my laptop so no cute emojis are available to convey my excitement, lol, sadly. But I promise I’m super happy. Haha. :-) I can’t believe it either. I brought my grade up from a highly depressing 50 (my first exam)! My second exam was an 80. :) I dunno why I shared all of that but maybe I should? I’m not sure how a studyblr works but I think of it as a way to keep me motivated. (Not trying to show off in any way lol; hopefully no one takes it that way).Â
...
Thinking about the fact that I’m actually an adult terrifies me lol.Â
Thought I'd let u dumb idiot babies know, I got a 91 on my 3rd Diff Eq. exam

Or not. Actually it seems that this year things are going pretty well for many, but for those of you haven’t quite got what you wanted then please check out my article about next steps. It is on the Daily Mail but I wrote it so it’s all good.
Also take a moment to check out the comments section, riddled as it is with the kind of lack of irony and self awareness one has come to expect from…

Too Much Going On
Too Much Going On
There has just been too much going on in my life. Things are busy. I’ve got the podcast mostly recorded, just a couple of fillers left to do. I haven’t even started a video. So the podcast and the video will be delayed until next week. I also think that I may have been to optimistic about getting one of each done every week. I may have to rethink that schedule.
I finished my finals for the…

It’s incredible how much more my family cares about my exam grades than I do myself.
My family when I fail: I’m so sorry. Are you sad about the result? Did you expect to fail or...? What are you going to do now? How many tries have you left? I’m so sorry.
Me when I fail: As I suspected. Second time’s the charm.
My family when I pass: That’s incredible. Amazing. Congratulation. I’m/we’re so proud of you. Thank god, I have been so nervous and tens on your behalf and I can now finally relax. I have send positive thoughts to you since you took the exam and it worked. That's fucking great. I knew you could do it. Etc.
Me when I pass: Hm, I passed. I wonder how that happened?
Return to your rest, my soul
"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow. 4 Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Lord, save me!” 5 The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. 6 The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me. 7 Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. 8 For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, 9 that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living." -Psalm 116:1-9
*Taken from my Bible reading accountability emails with Jack:
This wasn't a part of what I read today, but I saw this shared on Facebook and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Verse 7 especially impacted me so much. When I got my grades back the other day, I quickly fell into the trap of anxiety that I have struggled with so much in the past. I mean, it's kind of hard not to, just because the feeling anxiety is one of those things that I, in a way, have no control over. But what I do have control over is my response. And I responded by questioning God and forgetting all the ways He has proven Himself faithful to me over and over again. But verse 7 is the way I should've responded. The way I want to respond in the future. The relevancy is astounding.
