The rush of adrenaline counts, he supposes. As somebody who constantly tries to keep his emotions in check and conceals what may be his true feelings are on certain matters, to be able to find a place where he can vent out frustrations is exhilarating.
Turns out there was a better and more comfortable alternative as well. When it comes to feeling alive in terms of comfort and relaxation, nothing beats good food and a cup of coffee.It feels...nice, to let go of your burdens even if it is just for a bit and to stop thinking and over analyzing every single nook and cranny in the process.

Thinking anything else was unacceptable. But if that was the case, then why couldn’t he reach her number? Oh, but then there was the possibility that she didn’t have her own phone, much like himself.

Probably should've been paying more attention to where she was going, or at least listened to Birdie's chirped warnings. Perhaps then she wouldn't have bumped into this stranger and spilled her bag, but the surprised Amy couldn't help remarking, "Hey, watch where you're going--"
...Only to trail off once she got a good look at the other. What a pretty lady! Her hair was so vibrant and blue, just like Sonic... And was that a sword?! Mollified (and now somewhat nervous), the hedgehog gives a small awkward chuckle as she gets to her knees and attempts to re-pack her bag.
