Elly’s been grappling with how close she wants to get to people in this time---whether she wants to develop any ties that will necessarily be severed when she gets sent back. Nevertheless, she used to be a social animal (not an extrovert, exactly, but very fond of certain people.) Right now, she counts Paxton Semenyuk and Andreya Roche as near-to-friends, for good or ill. Both have some awareness of her situation, and have helped her feel a little more tethered to this timeline, though she has mixed emotions about that happening.

She’s also a fan of Corbin Ealy, because (to her mind) who the fuck wouldn’t be, and enjoys just spending casual time with Lake Valentine, who is closer to her ‘actual’ age, and with his gift for self-propelled rambling, doesn’t demand too much in return. Generally speaking, she gravitates towards anyone who can distract her for a time from what’s in her head, but she draws the line at getting into trouble. She hides in her shell and likes it that way, though she’s shown a more playful personality when she’s happy and feels safe.

On the therapy side, she’s had dealings with both Callum Wesley, who she actually sort of likes even if she’d rather antagonize than talk to him, and Dante Carrington, who she would really like not to like. While Wes seems to approach her from a more friendly standpoint, she appreciates Carrington’s no-bullshit approach to dealing with her Delusion and mental state.

future plots/relationships;

Friendships: As mentioned above, Elly has difficulty building serious ties to anyone here, despite what she might have in common with a lot of them. She feels eternally like an outsider, an observer, and she doesn’t want the heartbreak of saying goodbye to people.

The Quest: Her drive is mostly to collect information---anything at all useful to helping humanity when she goes back to before D-Day. It’s her primary goal, and she sees it as her reason for being here. Something worth exploring would be someone who wants to work at odds to that, and keep her from learning too much.

Deludeds Unite: While no one can probably relate to exactly what she’s going through, the Deluded have a better shot at getting real connections from her. She doesn’t seek anyone out, however, and isn’t given to prying into people’s lives, so this kind of trust takes time to build with her.

Who Am I?: Having been pretty directionless and undecided before, Elly has relied on others to define who she is---the disappointing daughter, the beloved partner, and now the time-traveller on a quest/Deluded misfit. Who she is aside from all of that is a question she’s managed to avoid answering for a very long time. Someone confronting her about this and helping her to face herself would definitely be appreciated.

Organizing the Rebranding Plot with Corbin Ealy and Pax Semenyuk left Mouse with a night spent in Correctional, and now a security guard shadow. He admitted his guilt to Chancellor Dervilia, but in such a way that it didn’t seem at all believable, putting him right into the category of ‘dumbass troublemaker’ with pretty much everyone else involved. But Mouse still feels that the NWRF needs to be taken down, though he’s unsure what the next step will be.

Roy Walter’s admitting that he was injured by the Chancellor during interrogations hasn’t helped Mouse’s growing paranoia about the safety of the Infected and his friends at the Colony. Although he hasn’t revealed what Roy told him to anyone, it’s another weight on his shoulders.

His ties to people around him have grown stronger, but still remain complicated. Alex Donovan has been putting in extra time to prepare Mouse to one day become an AP trainer. Andee Roche, despite a rather emotional fight they had, has resumed teaching him robotics and engineering. Mouse is gradually building up skills that might be useful to him, with their help, but both are authority figures for him in their own way, something that always pulls old behaviors and resentments to the surface.

After revealing his feelings for Lake Valentine, the two have begun (for lack of a better term) snogging whenever they bloody well can. This is complicated by Lake’s relationship with Ryder Edevane. Both Lake and Mouse are reasonably certain that Ryder will not kill Mouse, when he learns of it. In addition, Mouse has developed a strangely powerful connection to Elsa Copland, an Empath in Calyset who he seems generally smitten with. The circle of people that Mouse feels protective over is expanding rapidly, including Orson Hurst, Roy Walters, and Isha Feinberg. Whether he’ll be able to cope with the added responsibility he feels for keeping his new friends safe, as well as the original Lost Boys, time will have to tell.

Vendetta. Unquestionably, the Lost Boys’ strongest loyalty is to one another---if someone were to get on the wrong side of any one of them, they’d be faced with all the rest. Your character manages to do just that. Good luck getting Mouse to be anything but hostile, or even vengeful depending on what you did to them.

Rebel Rebel. With increasing frustration about the NWRF, Mouse is looking for allies. And especially those who might have good (or terrible, let’s not rule out terrible) ideas for what to do next. You could probably convince him to go along with pretty much anything at this point, as long as it doesn’t risk the people he’s close to.

Bonding with Andreya Roche was never exactly planned, but becoming closer to one of the apparent leaders of the anti-NWRF sentiment around the Colony can only benefit Clove. While she’s not exactly manipulating her, and it’s unclear how attached she really is to Andreya, she does seem to appreciate having a somewhat sympathetic ear around.

Antagonizing Nolan Keyes is just fun. She plans to use his ‘predictability’ eventually, but right now is playing games for the hell of it.

Re: Everyone Else. Clove has some simple dividing lines, personally---the Infected are fundamentally flawed, the Deluded are just further proof of those flaws, if not a foreshadowing of what’s to come for the Infected. She’s been keeping her head down, befriending those Uninfected she can tolerate and who can tolerate her, and even some of the Infected if she thinks she may have use for them in the future.

future plots/relationships;

Achilles’ Heel. Clove’s past as a thief isn’t something she’s left behind---it’s ingrained, a compulsion that she satisfies in various ways. Maybe she’ll take something of your character’s, maybe they’ll catch her in the act of lifting something that isn’t hers. Maybe they’ll just notice that the Head of Torren seems to have an awful lot of experience with some things that don’t scream Art History major---security systems, evasion, slight of hand, lying and social manipulation. There’s a whole world of sketchy hidden under the surface, just waiting to be discovered.

What Exactly Do You Do? Despite liking the benefits of being Head of House, Clove really isn’t a very good bureaucrat. She lets things slide, dislikes paperwork and meaningless rules, and eventually someone’s bound to notice. Whether they get on her case personally, or maybe try to get her in trouble with other officials, that would be up to your character.

Over the Line. Your character, for any number of reasons, has had enough, and actually attacks Clove. (No sexual violence, please.)

Accomplice/Protege. Clove is always looking for ways to use the people around her, even if she’s not actively plotting. She keeps track, and maneuvers. Your character, it just so happens, is someone she can fully respect, and is inclined to cultivate a ‘businesslike’ relationship with---whether they’re clever, or simply conniving, she treats them as an equal.

Keys to the Kingdom. There’s got to be some benefits if you manage to befriend someone in charge with a loose set of personal morals. She’s got the keys to the Colony, essentially. If you don’t mind Dervilia possibly getting wind of what you’ve been up to, you could have your run of the place.

Mouse is starting ‘Trainer training’ with Alex Donovan. Hopefully the extra hours in the rink will help him advance, and the fact that he’s blatantly hitting on his instructor right now won’t make this the shortest-lived training programme ever.

After he found out the disappointing news that she doesn’t in fact have an army of tiny robots, Andee Roche offered to teach Mouse mechanics and engineering. They’re starting from basics, and it’s a lot to learn but he’s seriously devoted to the work and to her, as he sees Andee as something of a mentor/big sister, even if the idea of trusting an adult makes him a bit uneasy.

Lake Valentine; friendly acquaintance to late night mental breakdown to empathic healing make out session to trying to lie about feelings and having it explode dramatically--- to, uh. Ninja swords and flower bracelets? Who knows what they are, but it’s cute and feelsy.

Not Like That. Mouse will joke and pseudo-flirt with pretty much anyone, if he thinks he can get away with it, and usually it’s completely harmless. He just likes putting people in a good mood. But your character takes him seriously (either liking the attention or disliking it, up to you). Awkwardness ensues, probably.

Bad Influence. It’s not that Mouse wants to be irresponsible, as such, but someone could probably convince him to do some not-so-smart things. In this case, your character just happens to be really good at swaying him to make questionable decisions (of any kind, probably).

Slightly wavy, neatly parted, occasionally twisted up and pinned back, but more often left loose and soft. Height: 5’3” Clothing Style: I’m partial to black, but mostly anything without holes, no garish slogans or designs. If I can find anything worth really holding onto, like silk or fine linen, I’ll take that. I know it’s a luxury, but there’s little point in feeling guilty about wanting the finer things, especially when so few fine things remain to us. Best Physical Feature: Probably my eyes, but I’ve always liked the way my hands look.
