Her (?) secret admirer
TW! (Pepperony)
“Your little admirer is already here, mentally gunning me down. Or killing me in some other extremely painful way.”
“Don’t be silly, Tony. I’m old enough to be his mother.”
“The kid really can’t hide his feelings. But shh... He has excellent hearing, so keep your voice down.”
For months Tony had been convinced that his little spider was head over heels for his girlfriend. He joked about it with other people behind Peter’s back, finding the whole situation rather amusing. The kid clearly had good taste of course. But what kind of competition was he? A schoolboy versus a billionaire philanthropist playboy?
But then one day Peter casually muttered with typical Gen Z bluntness “I’m gay, actually,” and suddenly Tony didn’t find it funny at all.
(Yes, he and Potts will break up. And yes, Peter won’t wait any longer.)
