Has anyone played the game Evomon, and how is it? Looking at the intro online, it seems the story was inspired by Monster Rancher a lot.

BurdenLeadLynx - Unfortunately, in the rampant mimicry during this Evomon’s previous stage, it lost its resistance to the weight on its mind and conscience, and has felt the full brunt of all of the sin it has committed. Allowing itself to be consumed by a mob of hatred, BurdenLeadLynx has changed form and grown into an icon of repentance. A leaden obelisk as tall as the pyramids, bringing to mind the image of its head on a pike. In its shadow, all of the guilt, abhorrence, shock, horror, and resentment that it now feels clearly rage on in a plane of pure spiritual laceration. Those caught in this manifestation of LeadLynx’s mind will experience torment otherwise unknown to this world. (Fun fact: BurdenLeadLynx cannot directly target its opponents - however, its area of effect is so incredibly large and instantaneous that this isn’t a problem.)

SalemLeadLynx - Perhaps when LeadLynx has grown weary of observing, it takes a form resembling the people it's watched over for so long. Its body is impossibly dense, being centered in its head, the stone on its chest, and its feet. SalemLeadLynx seeks to spread the comfort weighted pressure brings to it, and does so by replicating the types of atrocities and injustices that cause said pressure in the first place. Examples include extortion, witch hunts, and simple destruction of families and homes - or even personal devastations, such as the loss of a pet or other loved one. SalemLeadLynx is notoriously disturbingly personal when it has chosen a target to torment, and its silhouette is treated as a universal symbol for suffering. (Fun fact: As long as SalemLeadLynx can sense pressure in a target, it will always be aware of its presence and exact location. Its magic has evolved to become more imitative, and can manifest all kinds of weights from anvils and boulders to dead parents.)

PillarLeadLynx - Spending most of their time standing as tall, motionless obelisks, PillarLeadLynx can be found simply by looking for the craters they leave when they’ve found a comfortable place to rest. They often act as incidental guardians to places of great emotional importance, which they are attracted to. Everything, save for what they are trying to protect, will be flattened in up to a mile’s radius. Having grown, PillarLeadLynx can now at least ensure the things it has claimed are not impacted by its power. (Fun fact: While those in the wild often do not move once they’ve found a ‘post’, they are more than capable of using their wings to get around despite them being solid and unmoving - albeit it’s more like levitation.)

LeadLynx - the Evomon of Weight. This Evomon embodies the concept of weight, be that of the physical force gravity burdens us with, down to the emotional weight that can crush our hearts to dust. LeadLynx is said to appear before those wracked with burdens, be they current responsibilities or past traumas, and will provide comfort and companionship against the overwhelming pressure. However, LeadLynx discreetly adds the weight it was attracted to onto itself, and onto its perceived partner in a force equal to what the individual is feeling. Additionally, LeadLynx always sleeps on its partner’s chest - which can lead to a crushing death via suffocation, or worse, the breaking of bone and piercing of heart. Those that can bear the weight of the world will be rewarded in a loyal companion for eternity. (Fun fact: The actual creature is made of solid lead. The ‘fur’ it appears to have is taken from whatever poor creature it makes as prey - applying weight to its target at a force that turns its insides to mulch, then cleaning out the pelt left behind.)

GrimBarrelEbony- Referred to by many as the Mistress of Death, this Evomon reaps the souls of those on death's door - often put there herself if the target is deemed worthy. These souls are then able to be manipulated and used to aide the Evomon in combat - dragging opponents out of hiding and cover. The Evomon doesn't rely too heavily on this ability as they are still inexperienced controlling the souls - occasionally leading to inconveniences as the spirits attempt to escape its hold. The Evomon carries a scythe that doubles as a long-range rifle - so one's last visage of her could be of either her mystical, macabre form, or a sinister black cloak in the distance.

BarrelEbony - A rare, solitary Evomon that harbors distrust and contempt for others. It is said that the appearance of one is an omen of calamity to come, as wherever one appears, death soon follows. As such they tend to be hunted and driven away, even by other Nightmare-kin. BarrelEbony are known for being cunning and far-sighted, and if one were allowed to scheme for long enough, the worlds would be at its fingertips. It fights using a pair of handguns boasting a variety of firing modes, and can perceive reality in “bullet time.”
