Hi! My artist friend @eveslion is looking for favorite tropes and scenes to explore in her drawings for Kara and Lena... which makes me realize that while I waaaayyy ship them, and love them, I don’t actually follow many SuperCorp blogs.

Sexuality: What the hell is gender, anyway. I’ve usually said bi in the past, but pan is probably more accurate.

Hogwarts House: My younger brother and sister once told me that I’m a Hufflepuff with a dash of Slytherin. My brother then explained to me in great detail why it’s awesome to be a Hufflepuff. I can never decide. I wanted to hang out with Luna Lovegood.

Cats or dogs: I love all the animals! I’ve taken care of dogs the size of small bears, goats (omg favorite they are so affectionate and hardy and bouncy), dogs who look like silky library-lions, horses, dogs made up entirely of polka dots, donkeys, dogs who belong in remakes of War and Peace, tropical birds, dogs with coats like chenille, bearded dragons, golden dogs whose closest relatives are coyotes, tortoises, dogs who only answer to other creatures’ names, fighting fish, omg actually more dogs tho, koi, German-speaking puppies, hamsters, and also cats. I prefer to live with one or two cats, though.

Reasons for the URL: Oh, no! Okay, so I set up my whole tumblr and had gone through all the rigamorole and had never had any social media of any kind before so I had no idea what to expect and then the final question was the url and I was flustered. But I had already decided to have mermaids on my blog (actually partly to give people an excuse to interact with me?), so I ran back to my room and looked around to see what oceany things I might have and saw a white, spiny seashell on my shelf that traditionally mermaids use as a comb. And there you go.

who is your favourite character in 2?  Oh, no. In West Wing? C. J. or Josh probably, but I adore Leo and Toby and Donna and Charlie and Amy and

who is your least favourite character in 1?  I’m not sure I have a least favorite character on Buffy. They’re all pretty amazing. I thought Riley had great chemistry with Willow and very little with Buffy, tho.

what is your favourite episode of 4? Any episodes where House and Wilson are being ridiculous together are my favorite. Also “One Day, One Room” and “Last Resort” come to mind, though those are on the other end of the emotional spectrum.

what is your favourite season of 5? Glee season 2! “Sexy” and the rest ftw!

who is your favourite couple in 3?  Kara and Lena. Their chemistry is spectacular, and I love the two distinct relationships between Lena and both of Kara’s personas. (Supergirl.)

who is your favourite couple in 2?  I love Josh and Amy, I love Josh and Donna, and I love C. J. and Danny. (West Wing.)

what is your favourite episode of 1?  Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! “Hush”? “New Moon Rising”? “Once More with Feeling”? I feel like I would have to watch Buffy all over again and keep a list!

what is your favourite episode of 5?  How about a favorite Supergirl moment instead? I really like the scene in “The Faithful” (in which Kara learns there’s a cult worshipping her, made up of people she’s rescued) where the cult leader recognizes her instantly even though she’s Kara Danvers when they meet, and I love the whole conversation that goes with that. I think the scene is beautiful and revelatory about her character.

what is your favourite season of 2?  West Wing season 2 is pretty amazing, with Amy Gardner (Mary Louise Parker), Ainsley Hayes (Emily Mallory Procter) and Josh’s ptsd episode "Noël". Very hard not to love.

how long have you watched 1? how did you become interested in 3? who is your favourite actor in 4?  I’ve been a Buffy fan since its debut in 1997. I got interested in Supergirl after watching the whole Kara/Lena plotline on youtube. Hugh Laurie is my favorite actor on House. (He’s dreamy.)

which do you prefer 1, 2 or 5?  Being part of the Brittana fandom changed my life in more ways than I can count. So for sheer importance, I might say Glee. But I loved Buffy from the beginning, and Willow and Tara were my first f/f ship, and I have that beautiful friend/family feeling with the Scooby Gang. And I have a family feeling with The West Wing, too.

which show have you seen more episodes of 1 or 3?  I’ve seen all seven seasons of Buffy, and haven’t yet seen quite all of Supergirl.

if you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?  There are a lot of really unhappy people on House; that sounds like a terrible idea. Maybe Wilson? He’s gentle, funny, good-looking, has House for a best friend (a mixed blessing), and hasn’t completely lost his mind.

would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?  I’m sure House and the kids of Glee would find a million ways to torture each other.

pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely ok couple?  Willow would have paired well with all kinds of people. Faith, Spike…

overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5? I mean, Glee’s not really known for its consistent storytelling.
