people on that squirrels post like "i don't care if it's true or not that squirrels are illegal, it's funny" it is 100% true
new zealand has an absolutely fuckton of illegal plants and animals. we are extremely very careful about biosecurity. probably more careful about biosecurity than any other aspect of the law
