Ahhhh, Wesper with the 'best friend's sibling au' would be amazing if you could! Thanks fren!
This is going to be modern!AU. Consider that a warning. Hi Anon, sorry this took so long - all three of us hit writers block.Â
Wylan leaned over the balcony that separated the second level of his house from the first one, trying to discern how may of his brotherâs friends were over and whether or not he could sneak past them without being noticed. He supposed it was possible â Jakob had more friends that Wylan ever would, and they all seemed rather engaged at the moment.
Feeling satisfied that he wouldnât have to converse with any of Jakobâs moronic friends, Wylan tiptoed downstairs, making his way to the kitchen. To his horror, there was already someone there.Â
âDo you have a bandaid? âCause I just cut myself falling for you.â A voice startled Wylan. He recognized its owner immediately: Jesper Fahey, one of his brotherâs track friends.
âJesper, what are you even doing back here?â
âLooking for you, beautiful.â Wylan blinked at him, and Jesper sighed. âBut like, actually though, Iâm bleeding,â he added. âDo you have a bandaid?â He held up  his hand, which bore a rather nasty-looking gash.
âWhat did you do?â Wylan demanded.
Jesper looked away sheepishly and rubbed at the back of his neck with the hand that wasnât bleeding. âI tried to do a flip over the keg.â
âRight.â Wylan paused, pursed his lips, and made a snap decision. âSure. Follow me.â
Wylan kept a supply of bandaids in his rowing bag, along with gauze and tape, so it was to his rowing bag that he led Jesper. If his rowing bag was in his bedroom, and if he invited Jesper in rather than making him wait outside, that was no oneâs business but Wylanâs.Â
Jesper stood passively as Wylan fished through his rowing gear for a bandaid, cradling his bleeding hand in his other palm until Wylan produced a bandaid and offered it to him. He struggled with it a moment, trying simultaneously to open the bandaid and keep himself from bleeding on Wylanâs floor.
After a moment of this, Wylan took the bandaid from Jesperâs good hand and peeled the paper off. âWell, this is awkwardly cliche,â he observed, laughing nervously. Jesper smoothed out the bandaid.
âSo, does that mean Iâm supposed to kiss you now?â he inquired.
Wylan, gobsmacked, blinked at him. âI â uh ââ
He didnât have time to finish his thought before Jesper swooped in, customary smirk on his face, and did just that.Â
