#1: UNIS

Joined Ever-After during SUPERWOMAN era (debut) They quite literally took over my fyp for like two months.So I caved to the propaganda, and bought an album. It was love at first listen— The members are SO FREAKING TALENTED!! Their vocals just complement each other so well, their visuals and concept being just so freaking cute/soft— I love. UNIS literally never disappoints me, only banger after banger. Not to mention, they have a few members who are fluent in English, so I can understand some of their content without subtitles. I just had no choice but to stan. Only downside for me is that half of the members are minors/still in school, so they’re not super active— and they are a temp group :( but I just love their spicy-sweet sound, all the members are such hard working girls, I really really hope they get a contract extension— I’m just soo not ready to say goodbye to UNIS in 2026 :((

Just a little sweetheart. Learns so stinking fast, she had such a distinct voice that I LOOVE, and her visuals are so freaking adorable. The tiniest girl in the entire world, she’s just so *ARGH* I get cuteness aggression. I need one of those plush dolls that look like idols of her— like yesterday!

BIAS WREAKER: YUNHA ❤️🇰🇷

OH, MY BABY GIRL— BANG YUNHA! Her voice is honey fucking sweet, always has a smile on her face, she’s my little angel who can do no wrong. I need her in red hair again, she looked like such a sweetheart.

Joined EVOL during I’MMA BE era (debut) Saw the teaser trailer and thought “oh this is intriguing.” Then the MV came out— OH MY GOD I WAS IN LOVE! I literally only stan GG’s so the fact that I was so interested in a BG? Yeah, I was so sold on the genderless/ gender bend concept. I still say I only stan GG’s.

TBH it flip-flops so much, but I think that I find Hyun the most relatable. Literally can’t decide if I want to be him or be with him. (Leaning more towards be him, I don’t rlly crush on idols) I just love a funny, tan skinned baddie, who is so comfortable in both their femininity and masculinity. God, he is just— style goals.

BIAS WREAKER: HARU 💛🦊

The most masculine of the group, but that’s what I love about him. An absolute ray of sunshine, and I always have a soft spot for the maknae.

Joined LOVvmeE during Waveway era (debut) I’m noticing a trend here

I heard that the leader was a former IZ*ONE member and like IDRK anything about IZ*ONE, but I hear good things about the members so I figured why not. OH MY GOD— did I fall in love with the alien cat turned into girl concept. PLUSS…

BIAS: MEI 🩷💗

I found her through Dream Academy, and instantly I was so enamored by her sweetheart charm— but by the time I started to tune in she was eliminated :( Luckily for me SHE DEBUTED IN SMN!! She is actually why I did end up stanning, like music and concept was fire— Mei was just the icing on the freaking cake! I love her, she is baby girl.

*note— Mei’s representative color is pink, and her representative symbol is a heart. I didn’t want to use the same emoji to represent both. So, I used a heart that looks more like the symbol on the back of her photocards*

BIAS WREAKER: SHUIE 💜💧

She was just fashionably late… But for real, her introduction into SMN was just so well executed, and her vocals go insane for a rapper. From the start Okay, maybe it was UNIS brain rot too, but shh… I felt SMN was ment to be an eight member group, and OH HOW SWEET IT WAS TO BE RIGHT!! So, yeah just on that alone I <3 Shuie. Praying for their next comeback to have re-recording’s with her. I NEED her vocals on EVERYTHING

Anyway, happy 2026, nerds. Hope it’s better than 2025–

and just know I WILL be engaging in LOVvmeE, EVOL, and Ever-After propaganda. It’s my mission, nay, MY DUTY!

Nick Cave's Soundsuits are currently on display at Jack Shainman Gallery and Mary Boone Gallery. Both exhibitions display Nick's tribes of shamanistic, life-size figures. I first came across Nick's Soundsuits in an old issue of Vogue and haven't been able to get them out of my head since. 'Ever-After', on display at Jack Shainman's, is a collection of the still and more somber figures in a subdued color palette (the show is in memory of Nick's friend and artistic partner Matthew Mascotte). With what only could be hours and hours of handiwork, the suits are comprised of shell buttons, hair, sequins, twigs, chairs and other recycled materials. The bunny suits are particularly eerie, I was almost certain they moved at one point. The presence of the figures is only really understood in person, so go see it!
