I feel like working with children is like working with crows or corvids. You work with them, gain their trust, they yell too loud and too long, you maybe want to kill them from time to time, but eventually they start bringing you shiny baubles and gifts. As today was my last day as a middle school student teacher, I received drawings, hand made cards, and some shiny things. Yup. Working with middle schoolers is exactly like working with crows ๐๐๐ . . My heart is so very very full. Between the hugs, drying a few student tears, the โweโll miss youโs and โyouโre coming back right?โ I can sign off on my middle school student teaching with a grateful heart. Middle schoolers are weird, joyous, chaotic people who truly enrich your day. Iโm sure there were a few โthank god sheโs gone!โ After today, but I hope even those kids got something from me being there. . . Highlights of the note second period made for me include: . . โHope you hate high school so you come back!โ . . โWe will โmissโ youโ . . โYouโre going to be a great teacher.โ . . โI loved having your positive and wonderful presence in the classroom signed your favoriteโ . ๐๐๐๐๐thank god for kids #keepertoteacher #tcu #makeadifference #loveachild #eventhepreteens https://www.instagram.com/p/BrTNmRgH7g0cKzVyGGuq86k_YdNBx7owyF6URU0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=shmx9mz2d75a
