EVENT DECORATING RECAP: THE LITTLE MERMAID 25TH BIRTHDAY BASH - PART DEUX
Below you will find a quick break down on how we put together the main table decor for a Little Mermaid inspired 25th birthday bash::
Gold Sea Horses: Plastic sea horses spray painted gold and then glue into low candle holders. (Both purchased The Dollar Tree | Gold Spray Paint - Michaels)
Green + Blue Shell Bottles: We purchased these made, but you can easily hot glue some shells onto string, hang from the bottle, then take some thin rope string and hot glue it around the top of the bottle for a similar look. (Michael’s Craft Store)
Fish Bowls (Party Favors): This was my favorite part of the decor. We wanted the guest to leave with a memorable favor, and well, these goldfish sure won the prize. We simply hot glued a small plastic plant into the middle of the bowl, then took some glass beads + shells and scattered them around the bottom. (Plastic plants - Michael’s/ Bowls + Shells + Glass Beads - The Dollar Tree)
Shell Curtain: I took some sea shells I’ve been collecting from the beach and simply hot glued them onto thin rope string. I choose a length and simple measured all of them the same. You can scatter the shells throughout the rope at different lengths, or you can keep them identical as well. (Sea Shells available at The Dollar Tree)
Burlap Table Runners: You can buy a long role of burlap at Michael’s and simple cut it to the length of your tables to create runners.
Ariel Bubbles Gold coins + Mardi Grad Beads + Lanterns + Tissue Paper Flowers (Party City)
