 melody was slowly running out of people she could cry to/on without them complaining about it,    albeit the list was never that long in the first place and she’s never been this emotionally inept like this before  --        so the prospect of another long time friend that she could  ‘ help out’ ( in reality,   just be overly sympathetic and sniffly ) was enough to put the smallest of smiles on the red, blotchy, and teary face.   ‘ aki -- oh it’s all so horrible, why would something like this happen on today of all days -- think about those poor bunnies from the party ! oh i hope they’re okay . . . ‘ // @cfakihiros

      the slammed door is the first announcement of jeannie’s presence as she ran into the room,  nicely brushed hair a pipe dream -- messed with dirt and apparently a twig (?) -- the heavy panting is the second give away as she presses her body up against the closed door.   ‘ you --     you have to help me barricade the door ! ‘ jeannie announced,     a desperate plea to any of the people she’s now apparently decided to lock in the room,   ‘  -- he’s coming -- god he’s gonna kill all of us. ‘   // @cfdickgrayson​

  trying to remain calm in stressful situations? perhaps could be counted as one of seraphine’s skills. however, that usually involved playing the violin, or the piano, or painting,    none of which were capable options at this second.       maybe a cup of tea would calm her nerves,  she reasoned,   not really thinking of how surrounding others might react to her sudden decision to stand and announce her .    ‘  right.   it’s no point just sitting here and doing nothing,     i’m going to go get a cup of tea.’  //   @cfwarriors​
