event: brave new world ( the wishes you couldn’t burn, part one ) - EXTENDED
the night of the halloween party hope mikaelson was met by a jinni - sent by malivore to get the knife from landon - but with kindness on its lips, it had another plan and when hope wished to rid the world of the hollow, it twisted hope’s wish into a world where the jinni itself would be free. in the blink of an eye, the world has changed. hope’s wish (as interpreted and twisted by the jinni) has transformed reality, and in this new world magic doesn’t exist. no hollow, no magic, no vampires, no witches, no werewolves, no full moons, and most importantly for the jinni, no malivore. the wording of hope’s wish has preserved the world as it had been before - with people’s minds, bodies, souls, and histories still intact.
now everyone was simply human. it has been two months since the wish was made and the world is a new place for it, but how long will it be before people find out that it was hope that made the wish and come looking for answers?
what does this mean? all characters, no matter their species, are now human. aside from the obvious physical changes that come with that, characters are identical to their pre-wish selves. i.e. pregnant characters are still pregnant, everyone’s memories are retained, and all of them are aware that the world is not as it was. this also means that no one has been able to return from the dead for the last 2 months as without magic there is no link to the other side. overall this means the dead started coming back 5 months ago.
this event is being extended to after christmas and an end date will be planned for then. the rpg is also not going to have christmas till jan, when there is going to be a event for christmas as we want everyone to be able to be involved.
