A soulmate...hm. Well, that depends.

Like, according to the Greeks, back in the earliest days of humanity, everyone had two faces, two pairs of arms, and two pairs of legs. Zeus, being, of course, Zeus, was afraid they'd get too powerful, so he split everybody in two, and spread them across the earth, dooming them to search for each other to become whole again. So, in that sense, a soulmate is someone's other half.

A lot of people have interpreted this to mean that soulmates are strictly romantic. I don't think that's true.

Honestly, I think soulmates are more of a platonic thing--like, yeah, you might fall in love with them, if you're lucky enough to meet them. But before that, they're your best friend in the world, and you click on just about everything.

I don't mean it in some cute attractive way.
