4. Your views on religion.

Oooh, rant time! Okay. So religion. Where I come from, most people are not religious because most of the people I interact with are brought up not believing in anything religious. So I guess I might not completely be extremely well informed on controversies and conflict in religion, but I really don’t understand why people fight over it. It doesn’t happen in the are where I live, but in other places, especially in other countries  - personally, to me, religion is something that you believe. Don’t hate or discriminate others because they don’t believe what you believe. There’s no reason for you to do that. Just because someone is different doesn’t mean you’re not different either, and seriously? We all have our own belief systems. Don’t blow up over it. Live with your own, and appreciate the fact that other people have their own religions too.

On another aspect, I’m not religious, but I acknowledge that other people are, and if that is what gives them meaning in life, then I have nothing against religion. I don’t think it’s a waste of time or “stupid” or pointless to have a religion, because we all believe our own beliefs, and I have no right to intrude upon the beliefs of others.
