skid & pump are so important to me becuz they are most themselves around each other. to me they are THE autism + audhd duo and as someone with this kind of friendship, it makes me emotional to know there are people like me who can let me wear myself how i want to be seen: truly unfiltered me, just like them. it's so hard connecting with neurotypicals yet with many neurodivergent people it feels almost natural & less stressful and true. im pretty sure thats why my mind is hyperfixated on them
yet when with "normal" kids without their true identities masks, they are stuttering, nervous, quiet, and unable to communicate or relate to them. when around others they are truly wearing a mask for society & are uncannily different than if they were free from the perceptions of others as spooky creatures and kids. just like me. well except im not a spooky creature 24/7 BUT THAT ISNT THE POINT !!
this is the story of my life ???? it's so insane how me core they are even though ive always related to skid more. anyways i hope this makes sense and nobody is struck by lightning 🤞🤞
