#eve6

Busy day of four video calls including one where I was sitting in on a committee meeting with these big-time regional players.  I randomly got asked a question and was able to respond intelligently!  Thank goodness they asked me a question I knew how to talk on.  

While listening to Pandora, something that happens nonstop in my house, an Eve6 song came on (and not their main single that alwaaaaaaays plays). I immediately started singing along to every word (because you have to when Eve6 comes on) which then turned into an intimate concert for erp. She was, thankfully, super into it with rapt attention and lots of smiles and didn’t cry or tell me to stop.  I’m well aware that my time like this is limited.

I was trying to concentrate on something work related while erp was enthusiastically yelling to herself. For the first time ever in her existence I exasperatedly and sternly/loudly said her name and she immediately stopped.  Like for the rest of the night.  I think I broke her!  (she’s totally fine and back to normal, but woah - first time realizing I’m the mom).
