[ @evansrp liked this post for a starter and gets...Mason! ]
When Mason had first left the home, it was a big adjustment, not only did he not have to share a house with 10 other kids, and had his own room with things that were just his, but everywhere was so damn quiet. He’d never lived anywhere so quiet before, it was a lot to get used to. So much so, that when school started up again after the Summer, Mason was foaming at the mouth to get out there.
Sure, he was going to be the new kid, and probably would be for the first few months of the semester, but he’d be around kids of his own age again, one of things he missed the most since he’d come out of the foster system. So, there he was, walking through the busy hallways of McKinley, piece of paper in his hand as he hunter down his locker, yeah he couldn’t look more like the new kid if he tried.
His eyes swept over the numbers on the lockers, starting to walk a little quicker when he thought he was getting closer, barely looking where he was going until he collided with someone. “Oh, dude, I’m so sorry, I uh...I was trying to find my locker, I’m pretty sure it’s around here somewhere,” he said quickly, glancing down at the piece of paper in his hand, then rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand, “Name’s Mason, you okay?”
