gwin has been quietly pining for you for quite a while, planning to confess to you when the time was right for it! only that the time wasn't right when he did end up confessing to you…
the two of you were out on a BLADE mission together, when you suddenly got ambushed by a tyrant! and thinking that those might be your last moments together, gwin blurted out a confession!
“i-i know this isn't the best moment for this, but uhm…” gwin mumbled, his eyes on the tyrant glaring you two down, instead of on you. “but i've really liked you, for quite a while. a-any chance you might want to go out with me? i-if we survive this, i mean…”
“i'll give you an answer after we survived this, alright?” you huffed slightly amused, while drawing your weapon. “now get your guns out and defend yourself!”
you certainly weren't just going to stand still and wait around for that tyrant to kill you two! especially not now that you knew that the guy you liked liked you back…
so you had to survive this, to go on that date that gwin had just promised you…

-----------
Your POV:
It was tradition. The night before the last performance of what ever production we were putting on, the entire cast would go out to the same local club and dance the night away. It was a great stress relief and a way to make some memories. This Thursday night was no different. While your friends were well known at your club, however you were infamous. Not for anything bad, but solely the fact you NEVER left the club with anyone you didn’t come with. And you roasted anyone who didn’t understand the word “no”. For the past 3 years.
It even became a running joke between you and the bartenders, to the point where they put up a chalk board with the following information “Take out challenge: Attempts:639 Complete Misses:637 Burn Victims:213 Near Success:2 Success: 0″. Underneath that was some more writing that stated who ever completed the challenge would receive one year of free drinks. The only ones who could not compete were your friends and whoever came in with you.
You had stepped away from your friends to catch your breath and get some refreshments while chatting with the bartender Mike. “So, anyone try today?”
“Nope.” You sipped on your drink. “No brave soul has tried to prove their worth.” A smile crept on you face as you leaned in to ensure that Mike could hear you.
Chatting with Mike, you noticed that a small group of mostly guy was keeping Hailey, the other bartender, busy. “So what going on over there? Frat boys or bachelor party?”
“Actually some guests in town, didn’t say why but they are tipping good!” Mike topped off your drink and headed off the new comers. You took this time to try and get a head count of where your group of drunks are. There’s Caddie, Sam, Jensen.... I can’t find Cass.
“Hi, sorry to bother you but, could I ask you a question?”
You looked up to see a man with blonde hair, captivation smile, and broad shoulders that gave him the silhouette of a Doritos chip. “That depends on the question.”
The man pointed at the chalk board on the wall. “What is this take out challenge?” You motioned for the man to sit down next to you.
“The challenge sounds simple, but it’s damn near impossible.” The man raised his eyebrow while sipping on his beer. “There’s this girl here, who no one has managed to take home. She never leaves with someone she didn’t come with.”
“She’s turned down over 600 people?”
“Yup. Now the challenge has two parts. Find said girl and manage to convince her to leave the club with you. And if your interested, the bartenders, might tell you who she is and something she likes to talk about. But more often than not, they just point her out and its a free for all.”
“So do you know this mystery girl?” You shrugged and took a sip. “Perhaps, I can drink with you for a bit?”
“Maybe, or maybe we could go dance a bit.”
The alcohol giving you some courage, you grabbed the mystery man by his hand and led him to the dance floor. While dancing, the two of you talked about anything and everything. Conversation just flowed since the two of you seemed to click so easily. Chuckles could occasionally be heard over the loud bass. Eventually, after a few hours, your stomach started to complain about the lack of food. Just as you were about to say something, the blond man spoke up. “Hey, do you leave with me and get some food?”
“What about your mystery girl? Don’t you want to find her?”
“Honestly I forgot about that entirely. I just wanna get good food with a beautiful woman.
You didn’t know if it was the alcohol or the hunger in your stomach, or the way he had been treating you that night. The way he listened in the conversation, was respectful, even engaging in a contest on who could make the worst puns, but you broke tradition. “Sure, just let me grab my purse. I’ll meet you at the door.” As you went to grab your purse from the bar, you gave Mike and Hailey a heads up and told them you would text them when you got home.
“It’s been three years and finally you leave with someone.” Mike wiped fake tears from under his eye while putting an arms around Hailey. “They grow up so fast!”
“It’s just food!”
Hailey chuckled, “yeah sausage.”
A blush spread across your cheeks and you headed to the door where the blond man waited for you. “Alright, let’s blow this Popsicle stand.”
Walking down the sidewalk to a hidden diner, the blue-eyed man asked what your name is. “I don’t know, that classified information but it comes with my phone number. It takes a level of trust to learn my name.”
“I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”
Smiling, you lightly bumped into his side. “What a marvelous question technique, you should work for the CIA.”
“Okay smarty, well just to let you know my name is Chris.”
Chris. The name of the mystery man. “Nice name, it suits you.”
“Thanks, I got it for my birthday.” That ripped a laugh out of you, making your shoulders shake.
“That’s a good one! Cute and funny!”
“I don’t know about cute, but thank you.”
A chill breeze filled the area, causing you to rub your arms for warmth. Chris must have noticed this, because he put his jacket over your shoulders. You tried to reject it, but he insisted. “Don’t worry, I’m practically a radiator. Now, how do I unlock this level of trust?”
“Simple. Play a round of twenty questions.” As you approached the door, Chris held it open for you and followed you inside. There was a sign saying to pick a seat and that a waitress would help you. Chris lead you to the back of the diner, away from the other patrons where you would be undisturbed.
While you scanned the menu, you and Chris began your game. “So, first question mystery girl. What’s your favorite song?”
“Depends on my mood, but right now I’d have to say...(favorite song).” You placed your menu down deciding on (favorite food). “My first question. This is a critical one. Answer the wrong answer, no way on getting my name.”
“Bring it!” He said leaning in and putting on a “serious” face.
“Whats is the best Disney movie to date?”
A scoff fell from Chris’s lips “Trick question, every Disney movie is the best Disney movie!”
“You can advance to the next round!”
The night continued asking more than twenty questions and ordering your meals. Eventually you both lost track of time and the waitress warned you twenty minutes before closing. You placed an order of (favorite hot drink) to go and asked for the tab. “I’ll cover it, don’t worry” Chris was reaching in to his pocket and taking out his wallet.
“No, I got it.” You had already pulled your wallet out.
“Let me pay.”
“I’m not gonna make you pay Chris, I got the tab.”
“Well nameless one, I’m not letting you pay.”
Both of you locked eyes in a stare off. Until you brought your hand’s onto the table. “Rock paper scissors?”
“You’re on!”...... Chris won.
As he paid the bill and you both gathered your belongings, you asked Chris if you could borrow his phone. Once the phone was in your grasp you added you contact info in his phone. “My name is (y/n).”
“(y/n), a beautiful name for a beautiful lady.”
A blush burned your ears and cheeks “Cheese ball”. A laugh fell out of Chris and you both made your way into the night. Chris putting his jacket on your shoulders as the temperature had dropped even more.
Like the gentleman he made himself to be, he walked you to your shared apartment and to your door. “I really had a great night (y/n).”
“Me too. Thank you for dinner.”
“No problem, thank you for the company” As you were about to enter the apartment, you turned back around to see Chris at the end of the hall.
“Chris!” He turned around with a half smile on his face. “Wanna go out again on Saturday? There’s an amazing coffee shop that has the best food in town.”
“Definitely! How does 11 sound?”
“Perfect! Good night, get home safe.”
“Good night (y/n), see you Saturday!”
Entering your apartment, you closed the door and let out a squeal. Over three years 640 people asked you out. 637 people rejected, 213 were roasted and shamed, two messed up, but one succeeded. In all honesty, you were happy he was the one to win that challenge.
Getting ready for bed, you noticed that you still had his jacket. It was easiest the comfiest and warmest jacket you had ever encountered. To the point where you looked on up on amazon just to buy it. Well Chris, you can get this back on Saturday. You slipped it on over your pajamas and went to sleep, ready for tomorrows show and the date waiting for you on Saturday

If anyone ever told you five years ago, that you were going to be marrying the love of your life, you would have laughed. Between your work schedule, finding someone who understood that your work was a large part of your life was hard.
‘What you day dreaming about?’ You heard Elizabeth say behind you, you looked up and smiled at her, the lovely blush pink dress flowing elegantly.
‘Just how I got here.’ You told her as you moved some of the curls out your face.
‘Just think, if it wasn’t for me dragging you out the office, you wouldn’t be here.’ She teased, you rolled your eyes as you stood up. Elizabeth took you in and smiled widely, placing a hand on her chest.
‘You’re going to make him cry.’ She told you and you both giggled knowing how emotional he was.
‘He probably already is.’ You stated, and she nodded, agreeing with you.
If summer is for lovers
then consider me in love
I found the one
Ooo I found the one that I've been dreaming of
‘Y/N, I would like you to meet Chris.’ Elizabeth said as she introduced you to him, you smiled widely and nodded at him
‘Nice to meet you.’ You told him, you noticed him swallow before answering.
‘You too.’ He replied, you smiled before Elizabeth guided you around the room introducing you to the others in the room.
‘You okay man?’ Anthony questioned, Chris didn’t look at him but nodded. Anthony followed his line of sight
‘Ah, you’ve met Elizabeth’s childhood best friend.’ He stated, and Chris turned to him quickly, shaking his head.
‘No, yeah. How come we’ve never saw her before?’ Chris asked as he took the drink that Anthony offered him.
‘You’ve never saw her before, I have. It’s because she’s always busy with running her own business.’ Anthony informed him, as they watched you greet everyone.
If friends are what you're looking for
Consider me a friend
But I'll break apart
and take your heart before this story ends
‘Trust me Y/N, you’ll be in love with me in no time.’ He said cockily taking a sip of his drink, you scoffed.
‘Okay lover boy, if your so sure.’ You told him as you patted his shoulder before standing up and moving to walk away.
‘Where are you going?’
‘To dance.’ You said as you walked away, before looking over your shoulder at him.
‘You coming?’ You asked him, he nodded before quickly downing his drink and following you.
This is the part
where we fall in love
Tonight I will make you mine
I will make you mine
I will make you mine
If you let me
If you let me
You stood next to your dad, who gave you a warm smile.
‘You ready?’ He questioned you.
‘As I’ll ever be.’ You said, as you heard the music start playing. You stood up taller as the doors open, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer walk down the aisle. You and your dad slowly started walking down, you took in everyone smiling before your eyes connected with Chris’s. he smiled widely as he saw you, Anthony and Seb clapping his shoulder as they watched you walk down. You and Chris didn’t break an eye contact as you made your way to him.
You came to a stop and your dad offered your hand to Chris which he took, and you noticed the tears on his cheek.
‘Don’t cry.’ You whispered into his ear, as he took your hand from your dad’s.
‘Too late.’ He replied with a smile.
Dating for the fun of it
is no longer my game
I'll take all your lovers
and put 'em all to shame
You sighed as you walked into your apartment, kicking off your shoes and walked over to the couch. You slumped down on it and ran your hands over your face as groaned, before feeling your phone vibrate in your back pocket. You moved around until you could reach it, seeing the name across the screen you pressed accept.
‘Hello, you’ve reached the girl who can’t have a successful date.’ You answered, you heard a small chuckle.
‘How’d the date go?’ He questioned teasingly.
‘Amazing.’ You replied sarcastically. The line went silent for a second.
‘Do you need me to bring over some take out and we’ll watch a movie?’ He offered, you smiled and sat up.
‘Yes please.’ You answered, you heard him moving about.
‘I’ll be there in thirty.’ He said, you nodded.
‘The door will be unlocked.’ You told him, even though he knew that, you always told him.
Don't compare love in the air
to anyone before
'Cause when you find the one
you've been dreaming of
You will hurt no more
‘Go on a date with me?’ He said breaking the silence, your head snapped to him, your fork frozen mid-air.
‘What?’ You questioned him, he wasn’t affected by what he had said, continuing to watch the tv.
‘Go on a date with me. I’ll show you the way a gentleman is meant to treat a woman.’ He said, you placed the fork down onto the plate and turned to him.
‘I don’t want to burden you.’ You said dismissively, Chris scoffed and shook his head.
‘You won’t be a burden.’ He stated truthfully, as he stopped watching the tv and turned to you. You watched him for a couple of seconds.
‘Where would we go?’ You questioned him, he smiled and pointed at you with his fork.
‘That’s for me to know and you to find out.’ He told you before taking another
‘Okay, I’ll go on a date. Only one though.’ You told him adamantly, he nodded, agreeing to it.
This is the part
where you check yes or yes
‘Excuse me ma’am, a man asked me to give you this.’ She said, you looked at her confused as she passed you the note, you thanked her and closed your book before opening it.
‘Be my girlfriend? Check yes or yes.’ It read, you giggled and shook your head before looking around the café for him before noticing Chris sitting outside in his worn-down blue cap. You reached into your bag and grabbed a pen before checking an answer. You then folded it back up before flagging down a waiter.
‘How can I help you?’ He asked.
‘See the man who’s sitting outside, in the blue cap, sunglasses and leather jacket?’ You asked, and the waiter looked out at Chris. He nodded.
‘Great. Can you give this to him please?’ You asked, he nodded you passed him the note. As he walked away you reached into your purse and left the money on the table for the drink and decent tip for the waiter. You watched as the man placed the note on the table and
‘I’m starting to think that you’re stalking me.’ You said as you walked up behind him and placed a kiss on his cheek.
‘Really, what would your boyfriend say?’ He quizzed you.
‘I don’t know. He might let it off for you being such a handsome and charming man.’ You told him as he pulled you onto his lap.
‘I think I should have a talk to him about letting a beautiful lady accept notes from strangers.’ He said, you rested your head against his as he stroked your back.
‘You up for a date?’ He questioned, you smiled.
‘Sure.’ You replied.
We've been together for awhile now
and every day seems new
You know it when you know it
and I always knew with you
‘Happy four years!’ Chris said as he jumped onto the bed, you groaned and tried to pull the covers up. Chris quickly pulled them down and climbed on top of you, keeping pressure on his forearms.
‘What time is it?’ You questioned him, trying to get a glimpse of the clock.
‘Almost twelve.’ He told you, your eyes widened in surprise.
‘Why didn’t you wake me?’ You asked him, he shrugged his shoulders.
‘I thought I’d let you have a long lie after last night.’ He said, you chuckled before shaking your head. You
‘What’s for breakfast?’ You questioned his as he pressed a kiss to your jaw line.
‘Pancakes.’ He said, he watched as your eyes widened slightly.
‘Really?’ You asked, they were your favourite food, well it was a draw with them and waffles.
‘Yeah.’ He said, you pressed a kiss to his cheek, before rolling him over and getting out of bed, grabbing your slippers and heading towards the kitchen.
Chris watched as you, dressed in his shirt, wandered through the halls. He pushed himself up before opening the drawer on his bedside table, making sure the black box was still there. He smiled to himself, and closed the drawer as he heard you shouting him.
I'm down here on my knee
and never felt so right
When I come back up I'll call you mine
'Till the end of time
He led you out into the open field, your hand in his trusting him completely. When you came to a stop and he let go of your hand, you dropped it to your side as you heard him walk around to behind you. Reaching up he took the blindfold of, he tucked it into his back pocket as you looked at the gazebo that had lovely fairy lights wrapped around it and a small table in the centre of it.
‘What’s this?’ You questioned, he walked back into your view
‘Will you do me the honour of becoming my amazing ad lovely wife?’ Chris questioned, your hands went to his cheeks as you bent down and kissed him.
‘Yeah.’ You replied, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
This is the part
where we say 'I do'
‘Y/N Y/L/N, do you take Christopher Robert Evans to be your wedded husband to live together in marriage. Do you promise to love, comfort, honour and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health? And forsaking all others, be faithful only to him so long as you both shall live?’ The minister asked you, you looked at Chris before smiling and nodding.
‘I do.’ You replied, Chris smiled widely.
‘Christopher Robert Evans, do you take Y/N Y/L/N to be your wedded wife to live together in marriage. Do you promise to love, comfort, honour and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health? And forsaking all others, be faithful only to her so long as you both shall live?’ The minister asked Chris, you smiled at Chris as he continued to watch you.
‘I do.’ Chris said, squeezing your hands.
‘Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife.’ He announced, you smiled before Chris stepped forward and placed his hands on your cheeks, before placing a passionate kiss on your lips. You pulled back to the sounds of cheering and clapping from your friends and family. You both turned and looked at them as you took each other’s hands and made your way down the aisle.
Tonight I will make you mine
I will make you mine
I will make you mine
If you let me

After having checked your bag in you were making your way through the small crowd of people that were at the airport at 6am on a Tuesday morning. As you spotted your group you motioned to Katie and Sarah, who could see you to be quiet. They smiled slightly and watched as you snuck up behind Lauren and covered her eyes with your hands.
‘Guess who?’ You asked deepening your voice.
‘Santa?’ Lauren guessed. You dropped your hands and she turned around, enveloping you in a hug.
‘You made it.’ She said as she pulled back.
‘Well you know, I decided I should come.’ You teased her. You fixed the sleeve of your top and the strap of your bag, smiling as you looked around the airport.
‘Where’s lover boy?’ You asked as you looked back at her. She pointed to a separate group of boys. The best man, Austin and Sarah’s husband, noticed you and nudged Danny. Danny turned around and smiled, you and Lauren waved at him before you turned around back to your group.
‘So are you ready to become Mrs Danny?’ Katie questioned. Lauren looked at her and bounced on her feet.
‘Yeah so ready.’ Lauren told the three of you. You all chuckled as you headed to the shops to get some food.
‘What are you guys doing here?’ Katie questioned, Steven her boyfriend placed a kiss to the side of her head.
‘Danny kept on whining about Lauren.’ He informed the group, Danny ducked his head as you chuckled.
‘Well I’ll go get some drinks.’ You said as you pushed yourself away from the table, they only nodded before turning back to their other half. Walking up to the bar you smiled at the bartender.
‘8 shots of tequila, please.’ You asked, he nodded and poured them out. You downed the first one before taking the tray over to the table, you all took one and raised it.
‘To Mr and Mrs Loverboy.’ You said, they echoed it before you all downed the shot.
‘Well as much as it was good, I need to get to bed since I’m getting married tomorrow.’ Lauren said, Danny nodded and agreed with her.
‘Yeah, I’m heading back as well.’ Katie said, you know that Steven would go with her.
‘I’m gonna head as well.’ Austin said, Sarah was tipsy, so you knew that she was going as well.
‘Y/N?’ Lauren asked, you looked up at them.
‘You coming?’ She asked you.
‘Yeah, you guys go a head I’ll make sure the bills payed.’ You told them, they smiled gratefully and tiredly as they all go up and left the table. You sat at the table for a couple of minutes before you tidied the table up before heading over to the bar and paying the bill, before ordering yourself two more shots of tequila, downing them.
‘Had a rough night?’ A voice asked from beside you, you turned and looked at him.
‘No, just decided to come to Las Vegas with three married couples.’ You told him, he chuckled and nodded.
‘That must suck.’ He said, you nodded in agreeance before looking at you phone.
‘It’s not even half elven and they’ve left, well it looks like I’m going around Vegas myself.’ You commented, smiling a final time at the bartender before standing up.
‘I could join you?’ He suggested, you looked at him.
‘As long as you’re not going to kill me then sure.’ You said, he smiled before he paid his bill and stood up from the bar stool.
‘I could use a night cap.’ He suggested, you smiled at him but shook your head.
‘I don’t do night caps, but I’m ordering pizza if you want to come in.’ You offered, he smiled widely and nodded. You opened your door before you both entered. You kicked your shoes off and picked up your phone.
‘What toppings?’ You asked him as you held the phone up to your ear.
‘Whatever your having.’ Was all he said as he set his shoes neatly by the door. You nodded and ordered the food before hanging up.
‘Pizza’s gonna be to 10 minutes. You want anything to drink? Water? Wine? Beer?’ You offered him.
‘Beer please.’ He said, you walked into the small kitchen attached and bent down to the fridge and reached for two beers, uncapping them you walked over to Chris handing to him one. You headed over to the bed and took a seat.
‘You can sit next to me, I’m not scared of you.’ You told him as you patted the bed beside you,
‘Why are you here?’ He questioned as you sat across from him with your legs tucked underneath you.
‘A wedding.’ You said as you took a bite from the pizza slice, he raised an eyebrow.
‘Have you ever thought about getting married?’ He asked you and you shrugged your shoulders.
‘Yeah and no.’ You told him before swallowing the bite of pizza.
‘I mean, I used to dream when I was younger of the white wedding, big with all my family ad friends but as I got older that dream slowly disappeared. I mean I haven’t had a decent relationship for the past two years, whereas all my friends are married, getting married, or the other half is planning to pop the question soon.’ You told him truthfully, taking another bite.
‘Have you ever thought about getting married?’ You asked him, he took a drink and nodded his head.
‘Yeah, probably more than a manly man should.’ He said, you giggled.
‘Really a manly man, who adores his dogs and has a picture of them as his screensaver.’ You told him, he looked offended and you noticed a pink tint cover his cheeks.
‘You dogs cute.’ You sighed as you fell back onto the bed.
‘Thanks, he’s called Dodger got him from a shelter.’ He informed you, you pushed your self up onto your elbows and looked at him.
Your eyes fluttered open, feeling a weight on your stomach. Turning over you smiled when you saw Chris sleeping peacefully, as you turned back around your eyes feel upon the clock, reading the time you closed your eyes before snapping them open again. Nine. You were meant to be at Laurens’s room.
‘Shit.’ You said, flinging the covers, heading straight to the bathroom. You left the door open as you quickly brushed your hair and teeth, before slipping on flip flops.
‘What’s wrong?’ A deep voice asked, you jumped slightly as you reached for the dress.
‘I’m late.’ You said as you reached for your shoes.
‘Late for what in Vegas?’ He questioned, you looked back at him to see him sitting up, a confused expression on his face as the covers pulled around his waist revealing his shirtless top half.
‘A wedding.’ You told him.
‘A wedding? Yours?’ He questioned you.
‘Yes. No, it’s my best friends.’ You grabbed you phone before walking over to the door.
‘See yourself out, close the door behind you please.’ You said as you left the room, running down the hallway and pressing the elevator button as Chris sat in your room confused.
‘Hi, sorry I’m late.’ You said out of breath, you looked around the room noticing Katie, Lauren and Sarah.
‘Why are you all staring at me?’ You questioned them, smiles breaking out.
‘You met someone.’ Lauren said as she looked over you.
‘What?’ You asked in disbelief. Lauren stood up and walked around as she took her dress off the hanger.
‘Who is he?’ Sarah questioned as Lauren dropped the robe and stepped into the dress, turning her back to you.
‘Who said I met anyone?’ You questioned as you zipped her dress up.
‘You have that glow.’ She motioned to you with her hand.
‘I don-‘ You tried to stop her but she turned to the others.
‘Sure she has it. You seam happier, lighter.’ She suggested to the girls as she motioned to you. The two of them smiled widely and nodded, agreeing with her.
‘Okay…’ You trailed out, as you took a seat with a sigh.
‘I met a guy last night and I took him back to my hotel room.’ You said as a chorus of ‘ohs’ echoed throughout the room.
‘Not like that. We sat on the couch, ordered pizza and drank beer and talked all night.’ You calmed them down as you remembered the night before.
As you sat around the table you were laughing with everyone until you spotted a familiar person appear. You watched him as he looked around the restaurant before he spotted you. He smiled and signalled for you to join him.
‘Hey, I’ll be back in a minute.’ You said to no one in particularly as you stood up.
‘Is everything okay?’ Katie questioned, you turned back to her and nodded.
‘What are you doing here?’ You asked him, he held up a small plastic card.
‘Your room key. I figured you’d need it.’ He said, you reached up trying to take it, but he pulled it back, out of your reach.
‘Please and thank you.’ You said but he didn’t give it back, you could see the amusement in his eyes.
‘Can I have my card back please?’ you begged him.
‘Only if you do one thing for me.’ He spoke up.
‘And what would that be?’ You quizzed.
‘Go on a date with me?’ He suggested, the smile fell from your lips.
‘I leave tomorrow night.’ You informed him, you watched as his smile faltered.
‘Well then, we can go on one before you leave.’ He told you. You bit your lip as you smiled up at him.
‘Okay.’ You agreed, and he smiled, ducking his head.
‘Y/N?’ You heard Lauren ask, you both turned to her bush covering both your cheeks, knowing that you been watched.
‘What’s wrong?’ You asked her.
‘Nothing, is this the one you were telling me about?’ She asked, you rolled your eyes at her.
‘You talked about me?’ Chris questioned teasingly, you ignored him.
Lauren, yes, this is Chris. Chris, Lauren, the newly wed.’ You introduced them.
‘Congratulations.’ Chris said to her, she smiled brightly.
‘Thank you.’ She replied politely, glancing at you.
‘Why are you here and not with Danny?’ You asked her.
‘We were all heading to a late lunch, are you joining us?’ she asked, you fixed your dress and nodded.
‘Chris are you joining is as well?’ Lauren asked him, he stood taller, glancing at you.
‘If it’s okay with you. I don’t want to intrude.’ He said, Lauren smiled widely.
‘Oh no, you aren’t intruding.’ Lauren told him truthfully. He smiled and nodded.
‘Great. I’m going to ger changed out of this dress. I’ll meet you at the restaurant.’ She informed the two of you. You nodded as she took off.
‘Key?’ You asked going back to your previous conversation, as he looked at you confused.
‘Where are you going to keep it?’ You don’t have any pockets.’ He pointed out, you squinted your eyes at him.
‘I’ll find somewhere.’ You told him, you were more than likely going it stick it in your bra.
‘Why find somewhere, when it’s already safe in my trouser pocket.’ He told you, you rolled your eyes.
‘Fine come on. I’m starving.’ You said to him, taking his hand and leading him to the staircase.
‘How do you know where everyone is?’ Chris questioned.
‘Telepathic.’ You said as you tapped your forehead with a straight face.
‘That and also I’m the one who planned and booked the whole thing with Lauren.’ You explained. He raised an eyebrow and nodded.
‘You look beautiful by the way.’ He said as he took in your purple dress.
‘What?’ You questioned him.
‘I never told you earlier, but you looked beautiful.’ He told you, you ducked your head to avoid the blush that was taking over your cheeks.
