#shinji ikari#neon genesis evangelion#nge#evangelionedit#ngeedit#myedits#*blows dust off of photoshop*#<3#originally I thought about making a gifset with the scenes of Shinji listening to his cassette player and using Kaworu's 歌はいいね line in that#But when I got the idea with Unit 01's eyes + Asuka's “Mama look at me!” that made me want to look for quotes from Rei and Misato that#fit Shinji as well#So here's the result!#had a gazillion more clips/scenes I'd collected to use in this - but for the “I'm not a doll” one I knew I wanted that scene specifically#and then I thought balancing out the cut-heavy second and third gif with two that hold on the same shot would look nice
