Which, to be honest, was a bit surprising, considering that the reason the hairstylist was in this current predicament was because he had been asking too many questions.

"If only you had clung to someone else, hmm?" Shiro shifted the body in his arms, reaching out to hit a switch that opened a wall nearby. He walked into the hidden tunnel, heading down a route that would take him to the school’s infirmary. He heard the wall shut behind him, but the tunnels were lit enough so that he could see. "Then maybe you would’ve been able to win this game… or maybe, like many of the others, you would have already lost by now."

It didn’t take that long to reached the infirmary. Shiro immediately went to the medical bed and laid Kazu on it. He glanced the hairstylist over and then turned to go rummage through a nearby shelf. “Hmm…” The hitman tilted his head as he pulled some medical gauze from the shelf. “This should work.”

Shiro walked back over towards Kazu, unraveling the gauze as he moved closer. He reached out, and, after a couple of minutes, pulled back again. “There.” Medical gauze wasn’t the strongest thing he could have used to tie Kazu to the hospital bed, but it would work well enough.

Now… all he’d need were some pliers, which should be easy enough to find, and… Shiro blinked, turning his head. ‘Ah, those are…’ His lips quirked into a grin.

Kazu groaned, and Shiro nearly gave himself whiplash as he snapped his head to look over towards him. Shiro watched, a nearly gleeful smile tugging at his lips, as the hairstylist blinked slowly, as if disoriented. Kazu tried to move, to sit up, and when he found he couldn’t, his eyes opened wide. A panicked look flashed across his face. He struggled to move, to no avail, and Shiro snickered as the other blinked back tears. Kazu’s head snapped over at the hitman’s laughter.

"Sh… Shiro?"

Shiro grinned and waved. “Hey, Kazu, didja have a nice nap?”

Confusion mixed in with the panicked look that the hairstylist was sporting. “What?” Kazu tried to focus, but his head was spinning. What had happened…? Shiro… was acting weird, and… what was with that get-up? The hitman had thrown on some medical scrubs, and had replaced his usual mask with a surgical mask… Kazu was getting a really bad vibe from all of this. “What’s going on? Shiro? Wh—”

"Y’know," Shiro began, cutting the smaller male off, "You ask a lot of questions, Kazu. Why… that’s why you’re here in the first place, isn’t it?" He slowly walked over to the boy strapped to the bed.

"Sh—"

"No, shh." Once he was close enough, Shiro quickly reached out and pressed a hand against Kazu’s mouth, successfully cutting the hairstylist off once again. "I’m not done talking." Kazu looked up at him fearfully, and Shiro couldn’t hold back his hysterical giggles. "Kazu… I really do like you, y’know?" He gave the boy’s face a small squeeze with the hand that was still covering his mouth. "But… I can’t have you snooping around, asking questions, and then ratting me out." Kazu briefly looked confused, but then realization seemed to hit him. Shiro grinned. "I’m not ready to lose this game just yet."

He finally moved his other hand from behind his back, and, as Kazu snapped his gaze over to see what he was holding, he used the hand on the hairstylist’s face to pry open his mouth. He spun the pliers in his other hand, his crazed gaze meeting Kazu’s panicked one. “You shouldn’t be able to tell anybody anything after this!” Shiro moved quickly, using the pliers to grab hold of one of Kazu’s front teeth. Kazu tried to say something- he couldn’t make out what- but Shiro ignored him and forcefully jerked the pliers back, eliciting a pained scream from the hairstylist.

Shiro pulled the pliers up to look at them, his twisted grin widening. “That’s one!” Kazu was crying now, and was struggling to move away from the hitman. Shiro let the tooth he had just ripped out fall to the ground and moved the pliers back towards Kazu’s mouth.

"N-No—!!"

Shiro ignored the hairstylist’s scream, grabbing a hold of one of his canine teeth this time. He gave a swift jerk, and Kazu released another loud scream. “Two…” Again, Shiro released the tooth and let it hit the floor. Kazu’s mouth dripped with blood. Shiro ignored it.

"Sto—"

Another scream.

"Three."

Plink.

"W-Why—"

Scream.

"Four…"

Plink.

Blood dribbled from Kazu’s mouth, and loud, hiccuping sobs escaped the hairstylist’s trembling lips. “K-Kill m… me…” Shiro paused at that, tilting his head. “Just… st-stop this, it hu-hurts… kill me… ple… please…”

Shiro frowned. “Please stop talking. It hurts.” He gripped the pliers a bit tighter, then blinked as if an idea had suddenly struck him. “Ah! I know…” Shiro moved the pliers forwards again, prying Kazu’s mouth open a bit wider. “Right about…” The pliers closed around the hairstylist’s tongue piercing. “There!”

Kazu’s eyes flew open in horror.

"This should help keep you quiet, hm?" Shiro smiled down at the trembling hairstylist… and pulled.

Kazu screamed, louder than each time he had before, jerking his head back involuntary.

Shiro laughed. It was a broken sound. His hands shook. The pliers opened.

Plink.

"Ah…" Shiro used the hand still holding onto Kazu to gently rub his thumb against the side of the hairstylist’s face. "It still hurts." Kazu flinched, trying to pull away, and his eyes flickered over to Shiro.

Pain. Hurt. Sorrow. Betrayal.

He could see the emotions on Kazu’s face clear as day, and it hurt.

Shiro let go of the hairstylist, as well as the pliers. They hit the ground with a clatter. Shiro reached up, idly rubbing at the side of his face.

He glanced away from Kazu, and his gaze immediately fell onto a human body model that stood up against one of the walls. He stared at it for a second, then looked back towards the terrified boy beside him. Shiro hesitated, then reached over and, ignoring at how Kazu flinched again, pressed his fingers lightly against the hairstylist’s chest.

Thumpthumpthumpthump.

He could feel Kazu’s heartbeat underneath his fingers. Granted, it was beating at an unusually fast and quick pace, but that wasn’t too surprising, given the circumstances.

Shiro pulled his hand back and reached up to pull of the surgical mask. He released a shaky breath, closing his eyes for a brief moment. Reopening his eyes, the hitman discarded the mask, then reached for the knife that gleamed on the table next to him.

Kazu trembled, eyes flashing fearfully, as Shiro raised the knife. Shiro’s heart thudded painfully. He smiled. “Goodbye, Kazu.” He brought the knife down, quick as lightning, and slammed it into Kazu’s chest, piercing the boy’s heart. He could feel Kazu jerk and then go limp, but Shiro didn’t move. He stayed still, hunched over the hairstylist. He shoulders shook.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Shiro leaned back. He pulled the knife from Kazu’s chest, glancing it over slowly. Blood dripped slowly down the blade. Kazu’s blood. Suddenly, Shiro laughed, utterly broken, and leaned forward to press his lips against the blade.

Shiro is healthy enough... which is surprising, given that he eats a lot of junk and snack foods on a daily basis. His older brothers, Shuichi and Keiji, are often there to remind and make sure that he's taking care of himself.

Shiro, as a child, was brought up in a type of home most children weren't. He was raised not so much as a child, but more so as a member of the yakuza family his father led. As a result, he was more detached and prone to anger than most children his age. However, his older siblings were always there to salvage what childhood they could for him, and help lighten him up when needed.

Outside of both his actual family and the yakuza family, Shrio's never really interacted with other people. He's never been in a relationship, nor has he harbored any romantic feelings for someone, so when it comes to romance, he's actually a bit awkward.

Though he and his older siblings were brought up in a Shinto-based environment, Shiro leans more towards agnosticism than anything.
