even though people would think that culinary arts would be an easy major, jia was feeling the heat of the kitchen this week. it wasn't her fault that she didn't like sampling spicy food because she was never great around the hotness of the taste. walking towards the path to her dorm, jia wondered who she knew that she could ask to taste her dishes at this hour. everyone was mostly in classes or were sleeping off their hangovers from last night. sighing, she shook her head slightly, not knowing what to do about her dilemma. at the corner of her eye, she saw a tall, rather lanky male walking in front of her holding a paper bag of groceries-- even though it was a bit far for her vision, she could have sworn she saw a pack of spicy instant ramen peeking out on top of the bag. maybe this was a sign that her assignment could be saved. increasing her walking speed to get nearer to him, jia finally reached the distance to stretch out her hand to tap his shoulder. "um-- i'm a culinary arts major at this school.. and i was wondering if you could taste some spicy dishes for me... i don't do well with spice so..."
