i like that we’re cognizant of ai imagery but ai imagery witchhunts often turn out quite cruel to actual artists who may or may not make mistakes.
“this has to be ai! nobody would make this person’s ears so low on their head!” and its a downward angle where the viewer can see the bottom of the subject’s jaw. it would in fact look that way. “ears don’t connect to the jaw like that!” and they literally do. “this arm is anatomically incorrect” yeah, it takes years to master anatomy. i wasn’t born knowing what my insides look like, personally. “this hand has all five fingers but it still looks weird!” hands are a known plight to ALL artists.
ai imagery is getting harder to identify and that is horrifying, but there are tells it still has that aren’t just general art mistakes most actual artists have to overcome imo.
