Simply put, it's because I wanted a gender-neutral title that had a little more flair than "ruler/monarch/sovereign". Those terms are fine, but they struck me as more descriptive, and I wanted something that was equivalent to king/queen in style and sound.

I got this ask after reading about the setting and just curious on what the world would look like in a more “modern” way

I definitely would like to write another story set in the same universe, but in a completely different time period and with a new cast of characters! I'd for sure also add options to returning players to add their Crown into the lore of the world and sprinkle references of them in it here and there.

Eagle MC can hold their own against two untrained enemies, they are like a good martial artist (I will use my own experience for that, sadly I cant do it anymore). So they are above average, pretty much a match against someone with a similar time of training as they have. Eagle MC could wipe the floor with Chase, the only reason why Chase held back was not because he was such a good fighter but because he could use magic and that would be an advantage not everyone has. (Same with Fuchsia, she can beat MC. Because she is a werewolf.)

The question would be better what didn’t inspire me.
