Dingo probably didnât realize that Enzan was trained not only in Kendo, but Judo as well. As soon as the other swung his ax the red clad fighter grabbed his arm. In one fluid and nearly effortless motion he flipped the other, twisting his arm to force him to drop the ax. However, Enzan underestimated the force heâd used. There was a pop as Dingoâs shoulder was dislocated.
âShit!â Enzan immediately let go and signaled for the training to shut down. As it did, the dimensional area dispersed as did both of their Cross Fusions.
He knelt next to the other boy, frowning apologetically. âIâm so sorry about that. I didnât realize how hard I twisted your armâŚâ
Dingo would never admit it out loud, but he could tell how inferior he was to Enzan. Months and months without performing CrossFusion had made his fighting skills rusty.
His movements were slower than his opponentâs. Each time he raised his axe and tried to strike, CF Blues was already a step ahead. He moved more swiftly, struck with more power than CF Tomahawkman.
When his arm was grabbed with force, CF Tomahawkman felt his grip on the axe fade away. The weapon fell with a loud noise, just as Dingo let out a sharp cry of pain. Dingo crumbled to his knees, and remained on the ground even after the Dimensional Area was gone.
âI think itâs ... dislocated ...â Dingo wheezed, holding his dislocated shoulder with his other arm. Somebody would have to put it back, before the wound worsened.

â So itâs you, Enzan. â
Blues-- or rather, Dark Blues states the obvious with a crooked smile. How foolish of the human to stand so boldly before him. It was laughable, really.Â
â Why donât you give up already? You should understand by now that itâs useless to keep trying. Just accept that Iâm no longer your NetNavi and stay out of my way. It shouldnât be too hard, considering this was your doing in the first place. â
His right arm then morphs into his sword, to which he points towards Enzan. Run, or stay put; he didnât much care for which his old Operator would choose to do. While things would go much smoother if these humans stopped trying to thwart him at every turn, Dark Blues didnât mind doing away with them if they decided to throw themselves on his blade.
â On second thought; I may as well just kill you, shouldnât I? Think of it as my-- your old NetNaviâs-- last honor to a human like you. A thanks even, for allowing me to become a Darkloid. â
Buggy Code

Blue eyes kept scanning the code as Laika spoke it him. âThat very well may be the case.â
He pulled up a second screen and moved it in front of Laika. âUse your PET to see if you can scan for any sign of Searchman. He could have ended up somewhere in the system. Iâm going to see if I can fixed whatever damage was done to this coding.â
Laika frowned as he did as asked. His PETâs screen was pulled up, and he punched in the commands for a navi search.
The results came back... confusing. Laika clicked his tongue in disapproval.
âIâm just getting gibberish. Itâs saying heâs in this server, but several thousand navimeters away. The serverâs not even that big.â
âInstead of helping you, they ran off? What an asshole.â
âThat they did. Iâm use to it though.â She said with a soft sigh. She looked down the street towards where the man who had knocked her over went. Now she was in a heap on the street with books scattered everywhere. âI will be alright.â She moved to stand but whimpered when she put weight on one ankle. âAgh... Shoot. Think I twisted my ankle.â

âThatâs not how that works actually⌠A lot of things I canât delegate to others as most of it is delegated to me by my father. Most of those tasks can only be done by him or myself,â he explained. âAnd our employees arenât poorly paid.â
âThen why donât you ask your old man for a break ? You really sound like you deserve one.â
âAnd sorry for assuming. I just donât trust big corporations ... Nobody should be that rich.â

â Enzan-sama... â
Blues watched over his NetOp from his place in the PET, as he has been all throughout most of the day when they hadnât been training. Today was especially busy for Enzan, even more so than usual. And with Shusekiâs treatment of him on top of everything else, Blues would hardly call it a âlittleâ overwhelming.
While it may have not been noticeable to most (Enzan had been pretty good at handling it, after all), Blues could see how the stress of it all started to weigh on him. And he finds he couldnât keep his silence or concerns to himself any longer. So he uncrosses his arms and makes a request.
â Is there not something I could help you with? â
The very real possibility of Enzan not getting to sleep much that night was something Blues would rather avoid if they could help it. Enzan had so much to do on just a daily basis that required he get a proper amount of sleep. Eight hours would be ideal but seemed unlikely at the current. Six was still achievable if all went well though.
â If we complete the necessary tasks in a timely manner then it could well put your father at ease, as well as allow you to get to bed at an appropriate hour. â Heâs sure to add, not that it was Enzanâs responsibility to fix his fatherâs mood. And not that any amount of work was likely to impress the man, but to at least relieve some of the pressure brought about by him would be nice.
"Oh... I've been impaled..." he said, dropping the PET and Synchro Chip. The Asteroid in front of him had been much quicker than expected.
â âEnzan-sama!! â
Blues calls out from the PET, now on the ground. Dammit, he couldnât do anything like this!
â Enzan-sama! We need to finish this and get you out of hereâ Try Cross Fusion again if you must! â Having been struck as he has though, he was unsure if theyâd be able to maintain a Cross Fusion now. But there was no way an Asteroid would allow them to get away, and they couldnât just leave it either, there wasnât much choice but to try take care of it first.
Unless, of course, someone would conveniently show up first. But that was unlikely enough as it was.
