i got into etterna and holy shit im liking it a lot more than osu mania, i might switch over entirely. I love the skillset indicators telling you exactly what youre in for in a chart so you can better prepare yourself for the chart, the stricter judgements feel really good to play with, mines and rolls exist, the difficulty scaling is much easier to understand, it displays the relative difficulty for each individual skillset in the chart which i find very useful, gameplay feels a lot more responsive and smooth, health is more lenient, theres no hitsounds meaning i can time my presses more easily, theres no hold note release timing, and hold notes dont automatically miss is you release it and re-hit it as long as its within the same beat, its such a great experience overall. my one issue is the fact its kinda hard to find individual songs i like since the downloadable content is mostly pack-based, and i think there should be a skillset indicator for jacks because theyre lumped in with tech i think, and theres a big difference between normal tech and jack-based tech.
