As their name suggests, Ethiopian wolves are endemic to the mountains of Ethiopia. These canids are the most threatened in the world and the only wolf species found in Africa. They are at the top of the food chain of the ecosystem in the area they inhabit, thus having no predatory enemies in the wild.
