…Blasphemy…my child

I cannot say I particularly enjoy these homages, my child. They seem a bit… morbid. As to whether I consider them blasphemous or not, I would say no as long as the intent is to pay respect to or remind oneself of The Good Shepherd’s sacrifice. If, however, the purpose is to conflate oneself with The Good Shepherd, to say you are as great or even the second coming, then that would most certainly be a blasphemy.
