Ethan watched him slowly, eying his approaching hand as he sniffed it only slightly, before tilting his head down, clearly not minding. His attention turned onto the bell on his tail, twitching it repeatedly to hear the sound, blinking slowly.
The smile on Sebastian's lips widened ever so slightly when the other accepted his silent request, his head dipping somewhat so the butler could pet him better. Not needing to be told twice, the demon carefully ran his fingers over Ethan's head, lightly scratching behind his fuzzy ears. A quiet sigh left the male's lips-- how darling. It seemed that the kitten was rather fond of the little bell, letting it ring all the while and with a chuckle, Sebastian's index finger tapped against the golden object.
The box rustled, and suddenly, Ethan popped out! His fuzzy cat ears standing upright, and a tail thumping against the box that he still sat in, the bell attached to it chiming, "Mrow." he rubbed his face in annoyance, than looked up toward the butler in confusion.
That there was a living creature inside the box had been clear as soon as the rustling sound had reached the ravenette's ears. Though, before his hand could even stretch to open the curious box, a blond head already pushed against the carton, also revealing cat-like ears that sat proudly on top.
The boyish face was familiar but all puzzlement fled Sebastian's mind at the quiet sound coming from the other, his lips immediately curling into a smile.
"Now now, what ever happened to you?", the demon cooed, squatting down next to the box. The kitten-like figure looked as though he wasn't too sure what was happening either, and as if to soothe the poor thing, the man's hand slowly reached out to touch the other's head.
