You and Andy go on dates out of town as to not be recognized and cuddle/pillow talk, some of those conversations get deep. As filthy as Andy is, he still believes in courting and gives you flowers and gifts whenever you see each other. Very cute and wholesome (I’ll write a fluffy part soon-ish!).

Oh yes, Jacob is far from being a good boyfriend. You’ve caught him chatting up or dancing with other girls at parties—always playing dumb when he shows up looking dishevelled with half buttoned pants. Not to mention that Jacob is utterly oblivious and neglectful towards your relationship, rarely taking you out or doing romantic gestures. You honestly wonder how the hell you started dating in the first place.

But you can’t complain because it led you straight to Andy Barber.

Most times, you’d call Andy and rant about your boyfriend as if he isn’t his father. And Andy, the sweet man, apologizes for raising such a dumbass and blames himself for not teaching Jacob how to treat his partners. He also acknowledges that you and he aren’t perfect either, as in, your affair.

You can’t imagine Jacob’s reaction when you finally cut things off and you and Andy lift the veil—from being his ex-girlfriend to his stepmom.

Steve tries to smile, although he knows it’s more of a cringe. “Oh, Bambi… you did, wow.”

You huff tiredly and hide your face in your arms. “Steve don’t need to lie.”

“I’m not—it’s really just wow.” Not in a good way, but definitely in an endearing way. He moves your arms from your face, chuckling at the mess of mascara and lipstick. “You’re cute, Bambi. No need to be upset.”

Your bottom lip quivers as you sniffle. “C-Cute? Even like this?”

Steve makes his point by kissing your vibrant coloured cheeks, then your nose, your chin and finally your lips. “You’re cute all the time, but maybe you need some practice, hm? I did promise we’d spend the night together, why don’t you practice on me?”

“On Steve?” You smile and he can’t help but laugh at the lipstick on your teeth, which he wipes away with a napkin.

big beefy chef!ari… his love language is acts of service bc he cooks for you all the time. Me thinks he tests new recipes, asking for your thoughts to decide if he should add them to his restaurant. You don’t even consider he’s a chef, bc when you first meet him, he’s all flirty, cute, sexy, soft but maybe a little intimidating and kind kind kind !!

Perhaps, going to his restaurant on a first date after turning him down (bc yes he’s cute but he’s also a stranger ??), Ari watches from the back as your date either goes horrible or really well. If it starts going good, it’s ruined bc you don’t like the food, and your date asks to talk to the chef/manager/whoever and boom !! He’s the man you met earlier that day and turned down !! Ah he works here and he looks hot in his uniform !! Ari then makes you a special meal and hand serves it to you, not being bitter but you do feel a little bad. Weeks later, you return and see him there again. “How did things go with that guy?” “Oh, he had a girlfriend the entire time…” “Oh. Well, you don’t want to be with someone who doesn’t tip their servers anyway.”
