Every time the two of them spoke, it felt like they were a second away from falling apart. The Dark One had his clutches within the both of them, but it had mostly been unsaid words between them. They both had their own demons. They both had things to be concerned about at any given moment. For some reason, even though they didn’t see each other often, Prospero felt some sort of kinship with her. He really wasn’t sure why, but there was some reason the two of them kept ending up around each other. Maybe it was just that connection the Dark One. He was sure she assumed that he had one and just hadn’t said anything yet. Just like he was sure of her connection with just an assumption. Anyway, there was no point in him thinking about all of that right now. She seemed relatively okay. For Juneau, he really wasn’t sure what that meant, but he would just settle on the fact that she seemed normal.
“Were you in Aventia, too?” He sat next to her in the bar, his hat coming off of his head as he did. A hand ran through his hair soon after. “I would ask how you’re doing, but you’d probably give me the same answer as usual,” he somewhat joked. It didn’t quite feel the same as it normally did though.
