the whole thing kicks off when callie's friend rina dies halloween night after they attempt to use an ouija board and callie makes a deal with the demon, iris, to bring her back 

however this end up giving the ability to essentially "see" people’s darkest secrets and things they feel guilty about 

this comes in handy when there's a string of murders at callie's high school, but as the police are making little to no effort in figuring out what's going on callie takes it upon herself to figure it out 

eventually she meets two other deal holders (tallia and herron) and death himself (rikki) and finds out this is just a part of a bigger plan Someone has in store for humanity

the demon trio themselves are.

they’re SOmething alright kjNKDN. iris basically adopts callie at some point, dax is basically heron’s adoptive dad cause it’s his fault the kids mom is gone, and eva...eva and tallia are lesbians and that’s all i will say on that kjNKJDF

they’re all siblings or something like that in some aspect but respect each other and whatever deals they’ve made with humans, however as they don’t Control their humans they can’t control what they do, which leads to accidental deal breaking (*cough* tallia *cough*)

this is peter's mom's god. 5th marriage i think? she's just. very obsessed with the image of the 50s housewife and Refuses to stay single for long, jumping into the arms of any man who's willing to give her the time of day (no this isn't normal or healthy and i don't plan on portraying it that way either)

other than being the towns quote unquote "golden boy" as his cover he very much cares for his family and will actively get callie and rina's help in whatever nasty trick he can think of

and before anyone goes "like every typical white guy-" please note all 3 of my kids have done awful things to other students who they thought deserved it, however none of them get caught due to being Very good actors and being favorited in some aspect that makes them look innocent to everyone else

but i am holding peter like simba. he is my favorite white boy and the feelings the same with callie and rina. they love their golden retriever bastard bestie
