brisk rattles the windows, a light wind against the curtains -- it caresses them ever so delicately, and fondly. had it not been for the immense languishment, perhaps then namoo could relish in the cooling temperatures. the charm around his neck that wisteria has given him does not fail to warm his habitually cold body, yet the limbs still find themselves quivering by the open window.
the more fatigued he becomes, the colder it is. for perhaps an hour or so, namoo stalls the decision to close the window -- the room needn’t be aired any longer, and even the slightest of wind affects him to such a degree. ultimately, he is left with no other choice as the hands quiver in such a way that he cannot even close the lid of the bottle at his hands. the herbs in the other, scatter over the desk. it is merely a small opening, he will get up in a minute, or so he tells himself. and truthfully, there is every intention within him to get up of his desk. that is, until qiang’s arms wrap a warm blanket around his upper half, and instantly, placation succumbs him. ❛ thanks, qiang. ❜
the smile offered to his familiar -- his companion -- is genuine and warm, laced in gratitude and enervation. for a moment, he simply sanctions himself to cave into the feeling of the welcomed warmth, before pondering aloud. ❛ shouldn’t you be sleeping by now ? go back to bed. ❜
