Personally, I really like the Arctic range of coolers, there is pretty much something for everyone. From AM1 and Socket 775 up to Threadripper and Xeon.

This is more of a revision, rather than a ground breaking new design. In a lot of ways the 120mm tower cooler has been pretty much done with in terms of improving the cooling or quietness.

But somehow Vincent, and his team, have taken a pretty much perfect cooler and made it better!

We now have P series Bionix pressure optimised fans with a higher RPM but at the same 0.5 sone sound level. They also can spin down with the PWM signal lower than 5%

There are seemingly uprated spring clips and other mounting hardware. The removal of the foam cushions has been very well received here at unbox HQ :-)

The new method employs fixed silicon or rubber pads that seem to be stuck very firmly, so no more hunting around for foam pads in the bottom of the case!

We have a redesigned fin stack with more fins and rearranged heat pipes to speed up airflow through the stack!

All in all, a lot of small but meaningful improvements to an already great cooler.

And yes, it has lower temps too, just in case you were wondering. It now rivals the legendary Noctua d15. Not too shabby!
